Vaccination, masking, business restrictions (including remote work) and school mitigation

Dude you're always so late to the game. I told you I did not think Failing Joe Biden could screw it up this bad. Got that wrong, Hater called it.
Almost at Trump's body count and the winter surge has barely started.
Trump set up the scene with no masking no vaccine pride.
This will go down in history as his pandemic.
Trump made sure there would never be any sort of unified PUBLIC HEALTH response.
The record of events show it and will show it in the future. You can try to change the history of how this was bungled and at the beginning we had already failed.
"Hydroxy, cant we try this Dr.?, this will go away, just around the corner"
Red team will live with the mess.
They already have, it helped them lose an election by 8 million votes to a white guy older than Trump.
Biden failed to turn the ship and has been horrible in his own right.
Telling everyone to throw away their masks just when Delta was kicking India's ass was epic stupidity. The vaccine rollout has also been been unimpressive. I don't see any moves toward the unified public health response you're talking about. Biden sold us down the river for a political narrative -- back to normality -- much like his predecessor did.
At least he's not denying and demagoguing COVID like Trump, but that bar is so low it's practically resting on the ground.
New cases, US, 7-day average, log scale
Midwest and Northeast leading the way.

PA now counts reinfections, which are real COVID cases, believe it or not.

COVID is wrecking healthcare in the US
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that the health-care sector has lost nearly half a million workers since February 2020. Morning Consult, a survey research company, says that 18 percent of health-care workers have quit since the pandemic began, while 12 percent have been laid off.https://www.theatlantic.com/health/a...orkers/620713/Morning Consult, in the same survey, found that 31 percent of the remaining health-care workers have considered leaving their employer, while the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses found that 66 percent of acute and critical-care nurses have thought about quitting nursing entirely. “We’ve never seen numbers like that before,” Bettencourt told me. Normally, she said, only 20 percent would even consider leaving their ins ution, let alone the entire profession.
Are you planning on keeping up the play by play of what everyone who follows the science already knew was going to happen?
Hospitalizations/deaths down due to vaccination, but remarkably similar this year to the last.
Hopeful of the new pill treatments as alternatives to people that can't get vaccinated for medical reasons.
Pandemic of the unvaxed is finished.
Pandemic of the vaxed starts.
Or, for anyone (vaxxed, unvaxxed, reinfected) who gets covid.
That's been explained to you, Nancy.
Are you planning on being this pissy about it the whole time? Because I'm looking forward to that.![]()
