The word infection is being used in a very dishonest manner here.
And its very easy for the red team.
Infections are sometimes used synonymously with the symptoms that sometimes accompany an infection.

Vaxxed anitvaxxers fighting so hard.
Why?
i'm so, so sorry that the vaccines work better than you think
https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2...uce-risks.htmlThe findings come from four weeks of additional data collected in CDC’s HEROES-RECOVER study of health care workers, first responders, frontline workers, and other essential workers. These groups are more likely to be exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 because of their occupations. Preliminary results from this study were first announced in March 2021.
In the new analysis, 3,975 participants completed weekly SARS-CoV-2 testing for 17 consecutive weeks (from December 13, 2020 to April 10, 2021) in eight U.S. locations. Participants self-collected nasal swabs that were laboratory tested for SARS-CoV-2, which is the virus that causes COVID-19. If the tests came back positive, the specimens were further tested to determine the amount of detectable virus in the nose (i.e., viral load) and the number of days that participants tested positive (i.e., viral shedding). Participants were followed over time and the data were analyzed according to vaccination status. To evaluate vaccine benefits, the study investigators accounted for the circulation of SARS-CoV-2 viruses in the area and how consistently participants used personal protective equipment (PPE) at work and in the community. Once fully vaccinated, participants’ risk of infection was reduced by 91 percent. After partial vaccination, participants’ risk of infection was reduced by 81 percent. These estimates included symptomatic and asymptomatic infections.
So what do we do to drunk drivers who drive a car?
leads too...
So what do we do to drunk drivers able to drive (and acquired a license.... god forbid now the government can track them! but, but... the voting....???) who go about causing accidents?
CC and snakeboy clinging to the "vaccines dont help prevent infections" talking point like
![]()
I can tell you from numerous investigations that ejected occupants are far likelier to harm themselves than anyone else.
Do you really want to go there?
CDC did too.![]()
Long ago you used infection to mean symptoms.
And you keep using it as a fear factor.
We get infected by all kinds of "bugs" everyday and we never know it.
Our immune systems fight cancerous cells we never know existed.
Never mention the whole thing. Just infection... AND STOP.
He is poking you to explain your drunk diver mechanism of transmission methinks.
Omicron Variant Might Help Defend Against Delta, Lab Study Suggests
In the lab, antibodies produced during an Omicron infection protected against Delta.
If Omicron dominates in the real world, that could lead to a less dire future.

Spurraider still living in the Spring of 2021 when sleepy Joe was claiming vaccinations would keep you from getting covid. Both clearly wrong at this point. NFL is like 98% vaccinated and they can't even field teams with all the positive tests and these guys are stud athletes for the most part. 461 positives in the last two weeks.

Not my analogy to explain
You have to deal with it.
You swept the losing orange matter to go unopposed in the primaries, not me. You got Joe elected. You put a loser up for president. 8 million strong.
So Joe purposely meant to deceive people by purposely saying something he knew was not true?
Did he call it disinformation and say he loved the method like the orange blob?
thats not them "clinging" to anything. its an acknowledgment of the science... that vaccine effectiveness, like natural immunity, wanes with time. boosters are a good thing
we still get Tdap boosters every 10 years, and flu shots once a year
What does quarantine protocols have to do with vaccine effectiveness?
Okay you can now bury your driving analogy.
CDC obviously knows that vaccinated people are infectious, too. Hence, the same quarantine protocol as the unvaccinated.
What does being stud athletes have to do with anything when it comes to infection rates? You would expect those guys not to need hospitalization or die from it, but as far as infection goes, the more exposed you are to the virus, the higher the likelihood you’re going to get it, no matter if you’re an athlete or a midget.
March 2021. Things are quite a bit different today concerning % of vaccinated getting Covid.
Also is the study you linked peer reviewed? Your link doesn’t say.
just ignoring the data i posted![]()
This was an attempt to get you to understand why SR21s analogy has much more in common with the subject than yours.
It was a reply to your reply and distaste for the drunk driving analogy which imo was much better.
There you have it.
God bless our teachers.
