will likely be the highest case numbers of the pandemic, especially once the school cases start climbing. i wish i had the numbers to compare august 2021 to this month in terms of hospitalizations versus infections as that would give us an idea of where we are heading in terms of any strain on the health care system is concerned (and, at least some anecdotal data on the pathogenicity of the omicron variant among our demographic).
