Florida's curve is looking pretty steady. We have to hope their environmental advantages that have been talked about will off-set stupid decision making. Don't disagree with anything else you said. Pastors were holding services attended by 300+ people. Just irresponsible behavior. A pastor has a responsibility to his congregation and actions like this are criminal. Many Pastors have switched to online services, thankfully.

Texas is looking real good. We can see here that in states that are getting hit the hardest, the inflection point comes quick and just exponentially explodes in about 10 days:

Texas's last 10 days are much smoother.

Teen Who Died of Covid-19 Was Denied Treatment Because He Didn't Have Health Insurance
“He didn’t have insurance, so they did not treat him,”
The staff at the urgent care facility told the teen to
try the emergency room at Antelope Valley (AV) Hospital, a public hospital in the area
“En route to AV Hospital, he went into cardiac arrest,
when he got to AV hospital they were able to revive him and
keep him alive for about six hours,”
“But by the time he got there, it was too late.”

Florida isn't really wide-spread testing, we would expect that to be steady.
Until it isn't. more simple math. Mardi gras e will be replicated by spring break e.
Death toll can be an indicator of case spread. Fewer deaths most likely equates to fewer cases.
There is doctor in NY who claims he's treated 350 patients with hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and z-pak, and said all 350 recovered without needing to be hospitalized.
Testing can be sent for symptomatic patients to commercial labs by doctors request in Florida now for patients of any age. Has been that way for at least three days. How widely mildly symptomatic patients are requesting or doctors are sending who knows.
Where FL did do testing, Hollywood, they found a lot of positives, right next to Ft Launderdale
Yeah, they caught up to 'em on the beaches.
Try months. Two to six.
