I'll wait for the trials with controls.
I know docs who are seeing results

The only real scientific way to do this is handing out placebos vs not placebos, and you have to be a royal asshole to hand out placebos right now.
Not to mention 10s of thousands of volunteer health professionals who went to NY, many out of retirement. That's some brave , tbh.
I've said it before, health professionals in the frontlines are the real heroes here.
What specific results d?
But that's the only way to know that it's better than placebo.
It's the only way to discern if it's the drug making a positive effect or the recoveries have to do with a different factor (genetics, personal immune system, previous vaccinations, etc).
Much quicker recovery than average and very few requiring hospital. But it has to be given before patients have severe complications.
lupus women with active disease depend on it and are having difficulty finding it.
It's both and anti-viral and immuno-suppressant, the latter being why lupus victims depend on it.

Researchers Warn Possible Coronavirus Treatment Hydroxychloroquine
May Be Toxic When Combined With Diabetes Drug
30-40% of mice treated with a combination of HCQ or CQ and diabetes drug metformin, died.
Treatment with the same dose of either drug alone had no effect on the survival of the mice.

Like I said before, we've already been giving hydroxychloroquine to COVID patients here in the US for a few weeks now. Is it helping? I have no idea.
Oh an anecdote
They said they were in ny,and then weve heard nothing, but more deaths coming, and usa prepares for worst weeks ahead...wish wed know if these treatments were helping improve patients outlooks here
We'll get through it, bro. Spanish Flu was FAR worse.
The old man loves to throw it in their face during these Pressers. He knows it bugs 'em no end. He's ball buster without a lot of fanfare. I bust balls, but, I'm a loud mouth. Not him, he does it stealthily. Not on purpose, I don't think. It's just his way, his natural way.
Chump -- if you get it, you'll probably be fine with Tylenol and Gatorade.
I know you'd never take some medicine that drumpf mentioned.
If I had to place a bet on a treatment I’d go with Roche’s Actemra (tocilizumab). It may be approved as early as this summer to treat COVID-19, according to the FDA. The drug is already approved in the U.S. for rheumatoid arthritis. The company began a Phase III trial of the drug plus standard-of-care in hospitalized patients with COVID-19 pneumonia about two weeks ago. The drug is an immunosuppresive which targets cytokine release syndrome. I think hydoxychloroquine will be found relatively ineffective, just getting a lot of hype because of Dr. Trash.

I'm sorry the President you support is a miserable failure and has made you buy into his magical thinking after and because of his miserable failure. I hope it works. There is currently no proof it works.
