That's just confirmed cases of people who were sick enough to get tested since testing began a few weeks ago in the state. 125k isn't anywhere near close to the amount of actual cases there are or have been in the city. The estimate is that the "official" case count undercounts anywhere from 5X to 100x. If 3 million in NYC have already gotten this, that puts the city closer to herd immunity.

Don't get the boded point? The graph isn't examining seasonality. Covid didn't just magically arrive in the US with its first confirmed case. The graph is examining how influenza-like-illnesses ed to levels never before seen starting in December. What the author is inferring here is that the Covid infection rate will start to settle down because it'll run out of "virgin" people to infect because an untold amount of people have already been infected from Dec to early March. Combining this likelihood with social distancing measures should, hopefully, slow the infection rate down to very manageable levels over the next weeks.

I've already had it

I think I have had it but the hospital said I had diverticulitis. I was hospitalized for four days in Feb. 5 days after flying on a plane and four days straight visiting my mum who was in the hospital from, an infection, complications to kidney stone removal.

It kicked my ass but did not attack my lungs. It hit me in my digestive system and kicked my ass. High fever, chills, shaking uncontrollably. The nurses who cared for me are saints cause it was not pretty.

I am su ious of the diagnosis of diverticulitis. I have read that my symptoms are somewhat common for the corona and recall Kathy Griffin complained of the same symptoms.

Google “corona abdominal symptoms”. This is what I had. I am back home and my hometown PCP has no time for my theories so he will not test me.

This was back in mid Feb and I am still goofed up. I think I got it on the plane or while visiting my sick mum in the hospital.
