Remind me again how many times YOU'VE seen the most trusted virus and infectious disease expert, Dr Anthony Fauci, wearing a mask during press briefings.
Interesting, ain't it?
Bit more on Georgia's ICU situation. Normally, their ICUs are about 22 percent occupied (see early March).
Nothing to see here. All gossip.

That's a large enough ignorant, stupid, bad faith minority to re , to block any progress by America, if America ever again tried to make progress.

Covid-19 Patients Are Struggling To Cope After Leaving Hospitals
Patients who battle severe after-effects of the viral infection are turning to local doctors or YouTube videos for help in the absence of post-discharge rehab protocols.
The severe lung damage caused by SARS CoV-2 has left the 30-year-old prone to exertional dyspnea, which makes him constantly feel like he’s running out of breath.
Months after the pandemic began, it’s clear that Covid-19 wreaks havoc in the lungs of moderate to critically ill patients as they grapple with weakness, breathlessness and fatigue for weeks, if not months.
It’s like the lungs forget their primary function.
Hence, say experts, pulmonary rehabilitation, aimed at reminding the lungs to do what they do—
inhale, exhale and supply a good amount of oxygen to the body through a set of individualised but monitored exercises—
is critical to the recovery process.
“I still have cramps, shivering and unexplainable weakness.
Moving from the bed to pick up the cell phone lying on the side table is exhausting,”

The 2nd wave will make the first wave look like a weekend at lake Gaston
For us americans, we are still in wave 1. The 2nd wave will probably come Nov-Dec to coincide with flu season and will be clearly seen when NYC starts ing up again.
Meh he is full of here when asked about BLM protesters.
Of course, it concerns me. But the vast majority have been wearing masks, and we are not seeing the bumpettes that I would expect.
majority have been wearing masks? How does this face know that for a fact? And their masks were either completely sweat soaked or hanging from their chins
"Scientist"
Any flu will be covid death.

And the children. Dont forget about all the dead children.
If you're advocating an enormous expansion of mental health care access like that organization is, I agree with you.
What does that have to do with potential infections in schools?
Agreed!
Maybe we can peel off a cool 200 billion off the defense budget next year to "invest in these solutions." Nah, we won't do that. Better just to force these people back to work so the stock market can get a bump. The brief notes that if the country fails to invest in solutions that can help heal the nation’s isolation, pain, and suffering, the collective impact of COVID-19 will be even more devastating.

Philadelphia has cancelled all large events for the next 6 months due to covid concerns. But as of right now, schools are still scheduled to reopen this fall
I'm sure you can opine different there... I do too as far as protests are concerned.
However, some of the other stuff he talked about was very interesting, like the pan-organ attack surface of the virus.
I think it would be really important to have the Federal government fully engaged in putting resources to assist with mental health issues like these while we deal with this pandemic.
It's truly unfortunate they've been largely MIA so far, tbh
If someon3 can lie so casually abouts something. You gotta take everything he says with a grain of salt
Well, I don't have to agree with their opinion on social issues, but I do have to take into account his professional expertise when it comes to the virus itself.
After all, he worked for the WHO before, he helped eradicate smallpox back in the day, and he is an epidemiologist after all.
He might not be no Dr Hdren, but you know...
Cigarette smoking is responsible for more than 480,000 deaths per year in the United States, including more than 41,000 deaths resulting from secondhand smoke exposure. This is about one in five deaths annually, or 1,300 deaths every day.Mar 23, 2020
