the question was somewhat rhetorical. there have already been double blind clinical trials for the first two. results havent been encouraging.
i've always said i'm all for having these medications tested and examined. go back a year+ to similar comments about HQC. my criticism has always been people holding these drugs up to be good treatments/cures before we know they are. of course, when we are in very early stages of a new disease, there's probably more room to be experimental. but once we actually have known effective regimens, its pretty absurd and irresponsible to try to push unproven treatments as viable subs utes
we already have vaccines which have proven to be incredibly effective at preventing serious disease. we have seen monoclonal antibodies as an affective treatment. and now theres the pfizer pill which has had outstanding results, too. why insist on pushing unproven drugs when we have other things that we know work?
