It's not that far if you're not going uphill. Coming back all the way back north on that Walnut Creek Trail is a bit of bear if you go all the way down first. I'm not a pro, so I don't do the hills in West Austin except for the short sprint up to the Balcones park. I'm not a masochist.

It's not exactly ten miles. Sometimes it's more, sometimes less. Sometimes I skip a day or two. Not too long ago, my bike was my main means of transportation. When I got a car again a few years back that changed.
