Coronavirus: Hydroxychloroquine trial begins in the UK

A trial to see whether two anti-malarial drugs could prevent Covid-19 has begun in Brighton and Oxford.

Chloroquine, hydroxychloroquine or a placebo will be given to more than 40,000 healthcare workers from Europe, Africa, Asia and South America.

All the participants are staff who are in contact with Covid-19 patients.

COVID-19 continues spreading into counties with strong Trump support

COVID-19 continues to expand into new counties and states in many areas with demographic and political orientations favorable to President Donald Trump.

This is especially noteworthy given that the president has
pushed for an even faster reopening of the U.S. economy.

Now, for four weeks running, counties newly designated with a high prevalence of COVID-19 cases were more likely to have voted for Trump than for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election, according to our analyses.

    https://www.brookings.edu/blog/the-a...est&stream=top

Trash counties conned and lied into electing Trash, and still being conned by Trash into disease and death.

    “The Costco Model on Steroids”:

Massive Corporate Deals Are Making Hospitals’ PPE Shortages Worse

Amid shortages of PPE to fight coronavirus, some

hospitals aren’t taking donations because they’re contractually obligated to exclusive suppliers.

“[We’re] like ing sitting ducks,” said one doctor.

“Everything in health care is meant to benefit those who control the system.”

What’s more, the hospital sent around a separate form that medical workers were encouraged to sign.

    It read, in part,

“Any harm or loss to any other party as a result of infection caused by my actions shall be my sole responsibility, which I accept and assume.

I expressly agree to indemnify and hold harmless the company, its client(s), and its contractor(s) against any and all claims, demands, damages, rights of actions, or causes of action, of any person or en y, that may arise from such infections caused by my actions.”

“Basically, ‘If you get COVID [due to lack of PPE] and die, you can’t sue us,’” the California doctor said.

    “It would be like

a firefighter trying to sue a fire department

for sending him into a burning building without appropriate gear,

and the firefighter having to sign off before they walk into the fire.

    I didn’t sign it.”

the California doctor said the hospital system has not accepted donations of PPE.

    Its hands are tied—

    the doctor told me that

the hospital has an exclusive contract with Medline,

the largest privately held manufacturer and distributor of medical supplies in the United States.

Even with Medline running short on PPE, the hospital isn’t turning elsewhere for necessary equipment.

“Everything in health care is meant to benefit those who control the system...

It is only about [corporations] and stockholders.”

He tried to cover it like a cat turd. He ended up killing 100,000 fellow Americans and putting 40,000,000 fellow Americans out of work. He’s just meeting our expectations.

Placentas From COVID-19-Positive Pregnant Women Show Injury

The placentas from 16 women who tested positive for COVID-19 while pregnant showed evidence of injury, according to pathological exams completed directly following birth

The type of injury seen in the placentas shows

abnormal blood flow between the mothers and their babies in utero,

pointing to a new complication of COVID-19.

“Most of these babies were delivered full-term after otherwise normal pregnancies, so you wouldn’t expect to find anything wrong with the placentas, but this virus appears to be inducing some injury in the placenta,”

    Damaged babies? Thanks, Trash

The United States has secured almost a third of the first one billion doses planned for AstraZeneca’s experimental COVID-19 vaccine by pledging up to $1.2 billion, as world powers scramble for medicines to get their economies back to work.

Places of worship being opened up! Good work Trump, get that base going and comparing Abortion Clinics and Liquor stores to being opened as "unfair"...lolol. Good luck USA> I'm not sure, when I go to my beer store for a case, I don't linger for 1-2 hours breathing everyone's air. Still, the same in trump's eyes.

There are no rules. There never were any. They were just for show, just like the reopening phases plans were.

    We are good at biology.
And we are good at sharing what we know on this virus and others.
After reading the NY Times article on the particulars of this virus imo we or others will have a vaccine(s) in record time as it does not appear to mutate in important spots in its RNA readily.
