If Trump's Cure is so powerful, why has Boris gone from being diagnosed with mild symptoms 10 days ago to on a ventilator today? They're BFF. What have you got to lose?

It's sad to see lupus patients being death paneled for anecdotes. If they were still getting their meds I'd be less pissy about it.
    How will lupus patients die?

It’s sad to see people here almost rooting against it working because Trump endorsed it early on.
They pretend they aren't rooting against it working but they clearly are...cuz Trump.

Organ failure if the flareup is severe enough. My mom has lupus and could die if something happened to her supply of hydroxychloroquine.

Either way, it would surely mean a hospital visit. Hospitals that also are increasingly running out of room and being overrun with covid.

If lupus flares occur it can take out kidneys or damage the heart. I guess you can run the odds against the death rate for COVID if that's your scene. Looks like that's already been done.

I'm saying all the hype is premature.

    Because it is.

I hope it works. I'd love for Trump to be right and competent and save lives. I'm sorry he hasn't and I'm sorry that hurts your ego. You trusted the wrong guy.

I hope she isn't cut off. Other patients haven't been so fortunate. In fact I'd make sure she isn't going to run out anytime soon.

Thanks. She just got her prescription filled recently so she's good for awhile.

I shudder to think what would happen if something happened to the supply. She's gone without the medication before and the swift decrease in her quality of life was obvious. She was already breaking down a day or two after not taking it. Couldn't even make it to the car without help.

. Kaiser Permanente was trying to say the effects would last up to 40 days in their kiss off letter.

So this guy is saying give it to the patients with the worst symptoms so we don't blow the supply. I'm not against that.

That's odd for a medication with a 45 day half life

Are the meds actually potent for COVID-19?

A Democratic state representative from Detroit is crediting hydroxychloroquine — and Republican President Donald Trump who touted the drug — for saving her in her battle with the coronavirus.

Whitsett said she was familiar with "the wonders" of hydroxychloroquine from an earlier bout with Lyme disease, but does not believe she would have thought to ask for it, or her doctor would have prescribed it, had Trump not been touting it as a possible treatment for COVID-19.

Asked if she thinks Trump may have saved her life, Whitsett said: "Yes, I do," and "I do thank him for that."

    Some are being evaluated.

Which ones are you asking about? (be specifc)
