Can you get a more perfect name for a Vegas team than Raiders? Seriously. "Golden Knights" was lame, especially when you have so many casino, gaming etc references

It's a great move, collectively the team will save over a billion dollars a year in state income taxes alone.

Derek Carr in a nuts ... good arm talent and great ball placement, with a weird reluctance to make good use of those traits

    The talent:

    Avoiding using that talent:

that's going to be the barometer this year. if he doesn't dial up the aggressiveness, that's when it might be time to explore options in the draft. next year is a good QB class, and not just with Lawrence, but also Fields and Lance

pretty much what I have except I have them splitting KC and handing KC one of their only 3 losses of the season. I have them winning 10 and then resting their starters week 17 @ denver because they're already locked into a certain spot.

I also have the afc east winner and runner up each at 8-8. It's going to be an atrocious division considering they have to face the NFC Best and the two-pronged AFC West.

Remember though, 9-7 teams are much more likely to get a playoff birth now that the playoffs are expanded from 12 to 14 teams.

Would love to see the Raiders brand die. I doubt it'll ever happen. They have a strong foothold in the lowlife market. Same reason the White Sox not gonna stop selling their traditional hats.

hard to imagine a bridgwater passing game being very very potent... though he should be able to feed CMC

Bridgewater can't throw past 15 yards. Which is fine when you have Michael Thomas and Kamara as your main receiving targets but if it's CMC and nobody else then you're ed.

Carolina is going 1-15 and getting Trevor Lawrence. Stays in the same general vicinity as his college.

yeah, it's funny, thomas' statlines were like 14 catches for 80 yards.

Is Thomas the GOAT "Possession Receiver" tbh?

DJ Moore, Robby Anderson and Curtis Samuel. All Teddy needs to do it get it in their hands. Which he will do. Our offense will be potent.

Boys needs to do research saying Carolina doesnt have weapons. Arguably best skill position outside of KC. And the stats say thats even debatable.

Three 1000 yard receivers on the team and Curtis Samuel who had 700 yards and over 400 yards of missed plays (Kyle Allen missed 9!! deep ball throws)

Joe Brady our OC worked under Sean Payton and just led LSU to shatter all Passing college records

    Vegas will find out

CMC and DJ Moore are YAC monsters, no doubt. Robby is mostly one dimensional (though he has shown flashes of more all-around play), but is far superior to Samuel. those 2 have speed but aren't great players.

teddy should be able to feed CMC and Moore and let them do all the work after the catch. bridgewater should definitely be a better version of whatever Kyle Allen was, but he's no gamebreaker. their offense should improve but they were one of the lowest scoring teams in the league last year, so even if they get better i still dont think they'll be in the upper echelon. feel the same way about the raiders. offense should improve from where they were, but i dont think they'll be keeping up with the chiefs in shootouts

panthers were also abysmal on defense and didnt do too much to address it (first round pick went to a run stuffing d-tackle, but they still suck at the second and third levels)

    oh boy

there was already a very slim chance Tyrell was going to be back next season at his salary. foregone conclusion now. i loved edwards in this draft, and he's been getting some hype in camp. well now he's going to have the opportunity to prove that its real. still, 2 starting outside receivers being rookies doesnt bode well. gonna keep leaning on that run game and waller/renfrow in the short game

Those 3 are JAGs. And definitely NOT better than say what the Bucs had (Evans, Vincent Jackson, etc) the year they went 2-14 a few years back. A few average WRs don't make a poor QB who can't throw past 15 yards succeed at football, especially when your O-Line is trash (aside from Michael Thomas the GOAT possession receiver, the enormous difference between the Saints O-Line and the Panthers' makeshift terrible line will render Bridgewater useless compared to the competent bus driver he was last year). Lousy roster overall. Completely at the beginning of rebuild mode. 2-14.

They lost Kuechly, Addison, McCoy, Poe, Reid, and Bradberry. Like, holy . They don't have a defense at all at this point.

Their offensive line is bottom-5 in the NFL. Easily.

Bridgewater to Michael Thomas worked last year because the o-line held up at a top-5 pass protection level as they usually do, and Michael Thomas is Michael Thomas. If you have Michael Thomas and a great O-line you can get away with , with the flat to Kamara a solid option. Screens and short throws alone won't cut it in Carolina with that piss poor offense. As far as YAC, without the deep threat the defense can stack the box and send a LB/safety to kill the screens and short stuff all day. It won't work. Bridgewater can't throw deep or even medium-deep.

2-14. And that's being generous and giving them wins over the lowly Broncos and Chargers.
