Hornets by 6.
Coming off a big win against the Jazz let's hope the Spurs can take care of business against the Hornets and pick up some momentum heading into the rodeo road trip.

wow I was so sure the spurs would be at least 0.500 at the end of january. turns out this piece of team is 5 games under 0.500 and in 10th place
remember when everyone here was going crazy because demar had a couple of 30 point games?
PAY THE MAN!!!!!
yes yes blame the best player
I knew spurfan would get Stockholm syndrome with this
It amazes me the number of people that have jumped ship because the Spurs have to "gasp!" fight for the playoffs for the first time in 22 years. (Though 2009 and 2010 had their moments of "its over" too. And by 2011 and certainly 2012 they were a power again. One that lasted until 2017. If these are our "down years' we have not and are not suffering. All the "retire Pop" "Player x sucks" "RC sucks" is way unrealistic, even if you can justifiably criticize some things.
We're actually due to miss the playoffs one of these years. Its not the end of the world if it happens, and it doesn't mean everyone running the show is suddenly incompetent. It's just the nature of a site like this where everyone wants immediate satisfaction.
Well said .. It's hard to find such realistic thoughts these days.
Let's get the W spurs
turning a 60-plus-win team that reached the WCF and might've won the le that year if not for injuries, into a team that can't reach the playoffs in a weak western conference in a timespan of 3 years definitely deserves some criticism. Especially when people have called out the front office after that 60-win season for making some very questionable decisions who were so obvious that even the average fan could see that it will hurt the franchise long term.
Yet sniffers never want to question Dictatorvich and his huge ego problem. Everything he does is right and he's the GOAT, Spurs FO is the best in the league, etc., etc.
People are not jumping ship because the Spurs have to fight for a playoff spot. People are jumping ship because the people who run the franchise don't do anything to improve the situation. As a matter of fact it's pretty evident that they are just making it worse. They think the outdated reputation of the over the hill head coach is enough to somehow turn the situation around. Action is required and nobody is doing anything. That is what frustrates most of the fanbase.
