I like the Texas dline against the TCU oline, that is a big advantage in this game. I've been waiting for Ossai to have his breakout game and I think this is the week it happens. TCU has good defensive backs but Texas has too many weapons, if the Texas oline can keep Ehlinger's uniform clean, I think this game becomes a blowout by half time.
I also look for the Texas running game to finally get on track as the TCU defense tries to take away Ehlinger's run opportunities in the zone read.
If I had to pick a score it would be Texas 45, TCU 16.
Really good stuff.
Thanks for your contributions.
247's Roach & Harris crystal balls for Jacoby Jackson to BU. Not good news but not unexpected either
Is Herb Hand who we thought he was?
yep, probably so. If he was stellar, Auburn mostly likely would have kept him. Sometimes a new environment is what is needed and sometimes it validates the situation.
Competing programs are negatively recruiting Texas BIG TIME and it is mostly impacting the OL. I can be a huge homer and say that is BS and Austin/UT sells itself, BUT players that want to make it to the next level or play for championships, it is easy to neg recruit Texas with regards to OL since very few have been drafted over a long period of time (much less in the 1st round) and havent sniffed a championship in over 10 yrs. And, then we have recruits like Little, Brock brothers, on and on, where others can say, "even their legacy OL players dont want to play there." How to combat this? Hand HAS to develop the players that has into being overachievers (Cosmi, Kerstetter, Angilau, etc) and get drafted above their recruited expectation. Right now, that is not happening making an easy perception to point out to recruits.
Not sure. That’s pretty egregious. Then Texas got called on a very similar play. What in the is Going on?

These refs need to go ref middle school level
That first quarter was one brutal quarter of football to watch. Maybe the real game will start now. Even if the players wake up the refs are a concern as it appears they could throw a flag or pick it up at any moment for little or no reason.
Oh my god. TARGETING????????????? This is bull !
Same ol . Ref ball. Ruining the game. Those guys don’t know their ass from a hole in the ground
The fix is in......these refs are pure trash.....the OPI, picked up holding flag, targeting, the false start switched to offsides.....all bull calls
We are getting jobbed... I think the Big12 doesn’t want a team in the playoff...
Mitc got screwed hard by the refs.....bogus offsides , bogus targeting, ejection......i feel for the young man
Actually the targeting call by the rule was probably correct. It seems as though there should be a distinction between a blatant and malicious infraction and one like this. A lesser penalty than ejection for a violation like this one.
