Banks is an interesting guy. On the one hand he is both a good recruiter and good coach. The nice 1-2 punch.
On the other hand, his off field life reads like a movie script.
I'd love to see Sarks' offensive wishlist for the 2021 class... oops meant 2022

Arnett seems out
What would you think of Jeremy Pruit as DC?
Might be a tricky show cause to navigate, but he can definitely recruit

Sark is supposed to have a pipeline to Mater Dei
For example WR CJ Williams

And these two West Coast WRs contacted us after watching the Bama-Ohio St game

Ketchum is saying Texas is more than in the mix for Banks:
New Texas coach Steve Sarkisian has identified Alabama tight ends/special teams coach Jeff Banks as a must-have target for his new staff and the Longhorns could be on the verge of adding one of the most impactful recruiters in the nation.
Multiple sources with knowledge of Banks' situation at Alabama believe that it would take a significant increase from the $700,000+ per year he's already making at Alabama.
While a specific amount of the offer is unknown, we were told that it is believed to be substantial.
There's a sense behind the scenes that Banks could be on the cusp of accepting the offer as of Wednesday night.
Juan, appreciate your input ! Between you and Texas4ever this site is GREAT !
Banks is in per multiple outlets including Inside Texas.
Damn! We are poaching a ton of coaches from Bama...heard we were looking at their DC as well. Not sure if that’s a good thing though
Inside Texas is saying Texas is zeroing in on Alabama DC Pete Golding to become Texas' next DC. There is a seven figure buyout on his contract, but with the hiring of Banks, money doesn't seem to be a barrier.
What are your thoughts on Golding?
Money wasn’t an issue when Ags got Jimbo. Running with the big dogs ain’t cheap.
Championship level coaching isn’t cheap. Either pay up or lower your expectations.
Really puts into perspective how much confidence these coaches have in Sark by leaving Saban for him.
Might as well order the uhaul services as one big bundle. Wonder how the brockermeyers feel right now.... lol
