I don't mean to overplay offers' lists, but it puzzles me a bit that Brooks has only one other P5 offer (Tech) and includes the likes of Texas State and Houston Baptist among his others.
I know the staff really likes him and that, frankly, is all that should matter if they are good at what they do.
Still, it seems a bit unusual that he doesn't have a few more solid offers from P5 programs. There are still several months, so of course that could change, but I would have expected others by now.
anyone know the story on him?

I don't know a lot about him, but he comes from a small school and doesn't get a lot of coverage. His film looks good, but it is against smaller school compe ion so that could be a bit misleading. I'm guessing the staff saw something in him and if it pans out then they found a true under the radar recruit (at least that's what I'm hoping for). I think his P5 offer list will start to fill out if/when the season starts on time and things get back to normal. One thing for sure, I think it's a safe bet that Stan Drayton knows RBs and what they bring to the table so I'm going to defer to his judgement on this one.
