Per The Brainiacs:
Still waiting for some additional confirmation but I am beginning to hear of a real possibility of some excellent recruiting news.
Would be a high profile and unexpected pick-up.
I’ll let you know once I have additional confirmation one way or another. From what I gather it should go down quickly.
Man I wish we could figure out a way to get Carrington back.
For anyone wondering, this shouldn't be Adeleye related.
Yeah, we're all wondering. I could give an educated guess with the best of them, but I'll hold off and wait for it to go public.
Done deal.
So perhaps today's rumored new commit is a de-commit from that conference?
Lots of UF smoke
Donovan Jackson #♂️
Is that good?!
If you like talented running backs.
Wiltfong said he still expects Johnson to decide after the season (if there is one) and put his confidence level at a 6. So, long way to go still.
What I’m wondering is if Johnson is the recruit mentioned in TFB’s update. Wiltfong said he still expects Johnson to commit after the season so it doesn’t fit the TFB timeline bc they mentioned it’d go down quickly. Johnson is also not really an unexpected pick up bc he’s been considered leaning more towards UT lately. I’m hoping it’s D Jackson like trumpet mentioned above.
What? When did Carrington leave? What am i missing here? Are you thinking about Samples?
My bad
Per Mike Roach:
Tunmise Adeleye made his decision to decommit from Ohio State today following the announcement that the Big 10 and PAC 12 would postpone fall sports. I don’t expect anything to happen there with Texas as Florida and Texas A&M seem to be the schools talked about most. I also talked with sources near Bellaire Episcopal five-star offensive tackle DonovanJackson. When I broached the subject of Jackson looking around, I was shut down pretty quickly and told that he was all in with the Buckeyes. Don’t expect anything on that front.
So Donovan Jackson isn’t the recruit TFB was referring to.
Texas will start Big 12 play this season on Sept. 26 against Texas Tech in Lubbock (previously scheduled for Oct. 24), Longhorns will follow it up on Oct. 3 with a home game against TCU (previously scheduled for Nov. 14) before facing off against Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl on Oct. 10, according to Chip Brown's sources.
