Gotta give Playblair some credit here. He freaking called it since before the mods were making noise.
Does Yurcich have any other recruiting successes or do you think Ewers was Texas lean all along ?

It's crazy!
In the past 15-20 minutes I've seen the following with positive feedback (not posting the tweets to save loading time on this page):
RB Jaydon Blue - https://247sports.com/Player/Jaydon-Blue-46085418/
WR Caleb Burton - https://247sports.com/Player/Caleb-Burton-46076668/
WR Evan Stewart - https://247sports.com/Player/Evan-Stewart-46096676/
WR Jordan Hudson (Oklahoma commit) - https://247sports.com/Player/Jordan-Hudson-46097244/
WR/TE Donovan Green - https://247sports.com/Player/Donovan-Green-46080070/
DE Malick Sylla - https://247sports.com/Player/Malick-Sylla-46093619/
ATH/LB/DB Dasan McCollough - https://247sports.com/Player/Dasan-McCullough-46059433/
now THAT made me laugh
That is a lot of 5'star and very high 4'star talent right there.
I hope so too, he looks like a 14 year old Rick Flair!!!
Ehlinger grew up a horn fan and jumped at the chance to matriculate at the 40 Acres.
The Shipleys did the same.
Ewers grew up a horn fan and jumped at the chance to be a horn.
The Brockermeyers . . . are dead to me. Have fun in TuscaHoma.
Former LSU and UNC QB Brandon Harris seems to be helping Coach Drayton a lot since he's arrived in Austin.
He has been hinting at something all day, and then there's this where Harris hooked RB Camar Wheaton up with a chat with Fournette.
We missed on Adrian Peterson, we won a National le, he didn't.
I'm not going to worry about missing on the Brocks, they are offensive linemen. We have had a number of fantastic offensive linemen that were developed as 3'star players. The most recent are Connor Williams and now Sam Cosmi. I'm sure the brocks will be fantastic players for bama, but the game of football is a team sport and we have some damn good players on offense and now we have a QB room that is the most talent I've ever seen at Texas. I think 2003 we had Simms, Chance Mock and Vince, I think our QB room right now is even more talented now.
It's a lot easier to overcome not having an all world OT than it is not having a great QB, but when you have an all world QB, the world is yours.
Texas wins another championship if AP is a Longhorn.
Losing the Brock’s is probably one of, if not the biggest embarrassment in recruiting I have witnessed.
My point is, you need these types of players to ultimately compete at the highest level and win championships regularly.
Losing instate top players year in and year out drives me crazy and is ultimately why we’ve been stuck in purgatory for over a decade.
Saw a while back the combined composite average of the 20 starting OL on the 4 playoff teams came out to low end 4*.
Longhorn logo in new end zone has been completed.

I didn’t see it.
so it didn’t happen.
Let’s just keep everyone together.
card, Jackson, Milroe, and Thompson
exactly. It would be great to have a Brock or Little but the reality is that you NEED them to have an effective OL.
You're right it is an embarrassment, but it happened, we lost them, time to move on and think more about who we got and who we can still get. Every year we miss out on several top 5'star players, Tommy B is just another one of them, James is good, but losing out on him isn't a big deal. We got a center I really like. Lets face it Tommy was the prize and we lost, time to just move on. We now have our guy we can rally around and recruits can flock to, he just happens to be in the 2022 class.
Speaking of offensive line, I'm hearing really good things about Hookfin, he might be our starting right guard and I'm hearing he is really turning some heads.
those guys can also open up a playbook
I remember having fourth down situations where we knew we could not run the ball for 3 yards that’s just not a good feeling. having Sam solved some of those problems but it’s still a of a lot easier when you have a number of plays that you know can work
It is not just the Brocks its the other 5-6 top OL Texas missed out on.
