Brought a jolt of hope initially, but very quickly soured because he was a blackhole ballhog and then kept getting injured. He has undeniable offensive talent. But because the Pistons teams were often limited in terms of talent, he played heroball seemingly every possession while pounding the ball into the ing ground for 20 seconds each possession.
That said, he still has good talent especially if its reigned in now in an obvious secondary, complementary role where there are a bunch of better players and he’s absolutely not the primary scorer. If he can not only accept a short minutes bench role but embrace it, his scoring and ability to create for himself can be valuable. I still feel like the Clippers were in more need of depth help up front, not another score first guard.
