I might be the last Spurs fan hoping they win games so those three reasons probably won't go over too well
Someone has to balance the discourse, tbh.
I'm all for winning if DeMar, White, Murray, Lonnie all play heavy minutes and share the court often.
I don't want to win with Brent starting and Marco getting any minutes.
Nah. I know BillMc is rooting for them. And I root for them to win every single game, let the chips fall where they may. As much disdain as I have for several players and the Old Asshole and what he has done/is doing to the Spurs, they are still my team. I can't bring myself to root against them - even as a rag on them. I think a few others feel the same.
perfect, because spurs wont be winning if this continues to happen anyway
More playoffs talk Lol.
I want them to win tbh. I joke about tanking but I hate players/teams with that mentality. It’s one thing if you’re not good enough to win the game, it’s an entirely different thing to purposely choose to lose as an organization
You know, I appreciate you still pulling for them to win. Personally, I just wish they weren't stuck in the middle. But even now, I want to say that the difference between the 13-14 pick and the 16 pick is no big deal. But one slot was the difference between Livio Jean-Charles and Rudy Gobert.
The biggest thing I disagree with is this: "San Antonio is due for a couple more close games to go their way." If the Spurs were hanging tough in close games and just not getting the right bounces at the end, it would be one thing. But so many of the close losses have come from the Spurs collapsing. They're not bad breaks - they're reaching out and snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Those games aren't going to start going the Spurs' way unless they start playing like a different team. If that happens, they could actually make the playoffs. If it doesn't happen, they don't have a prayer.
1 win closer to the 8 seed.
Definitely looking better. Fun to see Murray finding his groove.
I'd rather see them compete hard for the remainder of the games. If they win a few, I can celebrate that.
Pop won't tank. Each win brings him closer to surpassing Don Nelson. That might be a goal for Pop.
Hope they keep the energy in OKC.
I want spurs to make the playoffs bad draft class anyhow
Gs streak is 7 and they will fail
Spurs is 22 lol nba
No way.
Sniffers still abound. Plus the scheduling point was spot on.
I'm working on a 'sung to the tune of Sultans of Swing' by Dire Straights.
"Sultans of Sniff"
You are not the only one.. Go spurs
Tbh Brent is okay starting, not just closing
They beat the Jazz in Utah in the first game back; but I refuse to have hope in any starting lineup that features Trey Lyles and Brent Formes. These guys should be 12 and 13 in the rotation respectively.
I am most definitely rooting for them bro!
the sultans don’t give a bean
about any long wing-playing team
it aint what they call basketball
yeah, the sultans play brent forms (brent forms)

With White and Murray closing the last 2 games, we have shown to be able to stop the bleeding in the fourth. Just hope that the young guys min continue to raise.
As long as Forbes gets more minutes than White we are toast.
Pretty good!
If I was forced to take either Memphis or the field for the 8th spot. Pretty sure I’d take the field, but I don’t bet.
The belief that a top 15 pick or better will somehow instantly change the course of time in a positive way is ridiculous. The history of draft picks and who works out is like literally like playing powerball.
Looking at the number one picks since LBJ, only two I think have won les. The sheer amount of players who get.picked in top 10 and amount to nothing is staggering.
Let's not forget, two of our most recent heroes were picked what 27-28?
F tanking...stop talking like losers wishing for the lottery. Win all the time
We’ll finish 10th or 11th.
8-Nola
9-Memphis
10-Portland or SA
11-Portland or SA
Post a link to people who say they believe that "a 15 pick will instantly change the course of time in a positive way". Show who all you're talking about or shut. the . up. I'm so sick of you people and your stupid-assed straw man arguments.
I mentioned last night that one draft slot was the difference between Livio Jean-Charles and Rudy Gobert. And it's kind of funny that you mentioned the 15th pick, since that's where Kawhi was drafted. The simple fact is that a lot of better players get taken earlier in drafts. There are always sleepers, but everyone available at 17 was also available at 15 - not the other way around. If the team isn't going to contend (and the Spurs sure as aren't), then it's a good idea to build for the future. And you can't make a single argument that a late draft pick is better than an early one. There are a lot of very good basketball players in the league every year, but most of them aren't All-Stars.
Now the real news you should get through your head: the Spurs won't lose games because some fans want it to happen, and they won't win games because your dumb ass is watching at home rooting for them to win. "Stop talking like losers"? off.
I hope you’re right. I still want them to get the streak, but it’s a long shot at this point. Memphis trading Crowder and Hill plays into Spurs cards though
