Thats why bryn/patty& marco are iron men baby
All he does is shoot 3s and play no defense. It's almost impossible to get hurt playing his style of bball

Well, if our Luka has been called up & KJ is available, it will be interesting to see if Pop will give them some burn time (perhaps in mop-up minutes in a blow-out loss or to cover a player towards the end of a quarter, SMH). Otherwise, they will most likely be player spectators with great courtside seats on the cheap. But the bottom line is: IF this team's goal is to make the playoffs, they will need a string some wins, starting tonight, especially with Jaren Jackson, Jr being out with a sprained knee & Brandon Clarke's quad injury, could sideline these guys up to two weeks for Memphis. And Damian Lillard's groin injury could sideline him for at three games. This would be the opportunity for the Spurs to gain some ground for that 8th seed position. Meh, well see how this will play out, starting tonight, but it would be good for the Young Pups to get some Big Boi playing time. GSG!!!
No. The Spurs wanted Doncic. If SAC was offering 2, PATFO would have sent Leonard there
when have the Spurs ever won a big game this season? They lost about 10 of those
LMA injured?
But I'll tune in just to watch Luka vs. Luka.
The team has played well without LMA earlier in the season...was it Houston with the big LWIV explosion?
Please don't tell me they're going to ruin Luka off the jump and start him at center.
interesting... spurs finally going in tank mode and releasing the young guns?
Lonnie starting tonight for LA
its happening
Murray, Forbes, Derozan, Lyles, Walker?
Lonnie defending Donutcic
Porzingis going for 50 tonight
Pop embracing Houston-style microball? Pretty cool, tbh.
DeRozan's best position is probably power forward, as scary as that is, tbh.
Spurs won the home game agains Utah starting Poeltl and here comes Flopovich trying to play D'Antoni small ball
Pop probably doesn't want Porzingis to draw Poeltl all the way to the 3-point line and he knows Carlisle doesn't post up, so he thinks he can get away with small ball and it provides more spacing for DeRozan. I'd still prefer starting Poeltl though and have Lyles on Porzingis
this team doesn't know how to run offense without a Center setting screens....
BTW this is getting overlooked but jesus christ it's so gross. Brent is the situational guy, the guy that if the game demands some shooting/a spark you give him spot minutes. DJ and White are big minute guys no matter what. They're two of your top four player ffs.
Pop has completely lost it.
Everyone wanted the big three young guys together, lets see how they fare tonight
Lyles is going to struggle
Memphis already down 18 after the 1st in Houston.
This doesn't fit in the Pop-is-stuck-in-his-ways narrative. Must reboot.
