Luka is in the building. Luka Samanic that is. The rookie has been called up to replace an injured LaMarcus Aldridge, who is out with a shoulder injury.

Rodeo Road Trip over. Excuses over. Let's get it

Is Luka playing? Doncic, that is. He's nursing an ankle injury apparently.

Sigh, for so many seasons, this was such an intense, meaningful rivalry. How depressing this season is.

Spurs had a historic run. It was inevitable that they would eventually become a non-playoff team. The Mavs have sucked plenty since they last won a le. I don't think they have been a true rival for years because they weren't good enough. Now, we aren't good enough. It's all cyclical.

For Spurs fans wanting to make the playoffs, every home game is a must win. 15 remaining. And then hope to steal at least 5 on the road with 11 remaining there. That should be enough to make playoffs.

So today, must win. No excuses.

If they lose, its time to accept it.

Keldon recalled for tonights game, Metu staying in Austin. Luka actually might see some time tonight, but then again we’ll probably see Beli play the 4 instead

Who will close on Doncic in the 4th this game: Patty or Bryn?
Also I'm liking this route the Spurs are taking. "Back spasms" to Demar, "shoulder injury" to LMA, all while still starting Bryn. Hop aboard the tank boys

No, it wasn't inevitable. If not for Nephew nephewing, spurs would still be a top team.

When was the last time that piece of missed a game? Has he ever missed a game due to injury? Like even before Pop made him a make-a-wish starter pretty sure if he didn't play it was just DNPs.

It’s been a while and like others have mentioned, it’s difficult for him to get hurt when he’s not very involved on the defensive end so he’s always fresh

Sadly in the latest version of the NBA, star players leaving their teams to go to bigger markets is also inevitable.

Mavs by 20. Aldridge out means Pop plays super small ball with Gay at C and Belinelli replacing Aldridge

You're right about that but there are different ways to leave. Not telling spurs would have been a contender no matter what with #2 leaving but he really ed the team in many ways with his ty act.

Look what AD did in NO... being honest and clear from the start, saying he wanted to leave then making his best get a fair deal for eveyone, staying classy during the whole process.

Meanwhile, Kawhi who was supposed to be the next leader after the big three and the guy PATFO build everything around seated out a whole year faking injuries, then not only left the team in the dark about his intentions but brought drama around the club, discrediting the medical staff and organisation all around the league before making his best to hurt his value to go in LA.

Remember the y offers that were mentioned for him with teams reticent because of his health? Then see how good he was last year in Toronto and imagine what kind of deal could spurs have gotten for that Kawhi if he had retuned in his last year with SA and just showed he was OK?

Spurs are a better team than Mavs tbh, if Spurs are playing the potential that they are capable of. Spurs by 8.

I would've given Murray and more to close that deal. Doncic would've been more than just a better pill to swallow.
