Rudy's decline has been exaggerated, imo. Still has something left in the tank. You can't teach the size, length, and knack for scoring that he has.
I don't think he's in the best of shape this year. A solid summer and he could still be very useful for a team.

imagine if Pop actually have KJ or Q a shot playing in games way earlier in the season when it was apparent our rotation players werent going to cut it. Johnson or Walker should be starting over Forbes. and Marco even though he sucks fills Bryn's role and is at least taller. any coach with a brain would have this team in the playoffs no question
He does. He just can't do it consistently, and he can't overwhelm a good defender like he used to. But he's still Rudy Gay.
I've seen guys work hard in an offseason and have sort of an Indian Summer late in their careers. I would love to see Gay do that. I really like Rudy, and the Spurs could sure as use him.
There's like 5 better options than Brent and he still won't ing make the change.
