For what it's worth, I was at a soccer game in LA Sunday night with 22,000 other potential victims. A good time was had by all (it was a 3-3 tie ).

If we could get this government to do the same testing that South Korea managed (66,000 in the first week of cases) then we might have a better idea of what to allow and what to cancel.

Even at 5%, that’s 16,000,000 dead out of 320,000,000 US citizens. That’s in a short period of time.
It doesnt work like that dolt. Not everyone will get it. Anyone who doesnt have specific pre existing conditions have less than a ONE PERCENT probability of death.

Death rates will come down to flulike levels. 23 of the 32 US deaths occurred at 1 Nursing Home in Washington. With better testing they will find many more cases. Almost everyone who gets it don’t know they have it and recover never knowing they have it. Ave age of US deaths: 80 years old.

So, it could just be a cold or regular old flu.
Or diarrhea, or food poisoning, or strep throat, or a hangover.... but let's just cancel the game... because you know, no one has ever been to a game where someone was sick ...

In Wuhan the central hotspot for Corona. The mortality rate for over 70yo was around 8 percent and over 80yo 15 percent.

Reading oldruns post reminds me of the former Iraqi Info minister. He full of positivity and spin . Lol

Do not forget pre existing conditions. If you are over 80 and no conditions you have less than a 1 percent probability of death.

If just one player is positive to Corona, that's probably an instant hiatus on the whole season. With the 2 week incubation time, he could have contaminated many other players and so on, that would take a lot of time to test everyone.

wtf did I post that in the Demar's extension thread?

Yes it could be just a cold or flu. Most would still try to avoid catching it, unlike Gobert. Looks like they calling game off because of it.

Does a postponement mean the playoff streak is still alive?

Kind of chilling the implications that means for how many Americans likely already have SARSCov2 then.
