We all figured there would be increased infections after restrictions were lifted, or is tholdren saying they really aren't?

He can't stop frothing at the mouth enough to just say what he means.

    OK, Greater Houston.

Or do you just want to focus on Harris?

I'll try to find a similar picture for that so I can post it, but do you think there is an upward trend in Harris County since you know the data for that?
Of course I know that because I can do simple math. But that does not mean there are new cases nor does it mean that the virus is spreading.

Harris county has the largest amount of reported new cases, doesnt mean new, and have had the largest increases in tests out of the greater Houston area.

This is actually being proven to not be the case. In many areas that have opened there are not increases of cases. So again, you are wrong.

Your claim is the virus isn't spreading. Do you think it's going away right now?

The way the virus has been allowed to be accounted for statistically it could potentially never end. Antibody tests are being counted as "new cases" and deaths are counted without being identified as positive.

Fatalities hospitals and perc pos have been trending down.

Your question going away right now doesn't make sense.

I would assume death with only covid is less than that. You are probably correct.

"Texas has reported two consecutive days of record-breaking Covid-19 hospitalizations as the state continues to open businesses and resume activities that were temporarily shuttered due to the coronavirus.

There are currently 2,056 patients sickened with Covid-19 in hospitals across the state as of early Tuesday afternoon, up from a record 1,935 patients Monday, according to updated data from the Texas Department of State Health Services. ...."

Number of Texans hospitalized with coronavirus hits all-time high as experts say cases are likely to continue increasing

The figures come a little more than a month since Abbott's statewide stay-at-home order ended and he began a phased reopening of businesses. It also comes about two weeks after Memorial Day.

A spokesman for Abbott's office did not respond to a request for comment Tuesday night.

It takes about nine to 16 days to see increased infections and

generally another five to seven days to see changes in the numbers of people hospitalized,

said Rebecca Fischer, an infectious disease epidemiologist at the Texas A&M University School of Public Health.

(Some individuals are only diagnosed once they make it to the hospital.)

"In terms of new infections, we are seeing a surge ...

    in part attributed to
    activities surrounding Memorial Day weekend,

such as gatherings where protective behaviors may have been lax,"

    https://www.texastribune.org/2020/06/09/texas-coronavirus-reopening-surge-infections-hospitalizations/

    up next, June-teenth!

and then 4th July, but it falls on Sat, so no 3 or 4 day weekend
