I can support the peaceful protests and question their impact on the spread of the virus at the same time, it’s not a difficult concept to grasp.
I completely get it. It's an indoor virus unless outside protesting black deaths. No need to explain.

Hot weather drives people indoors where the virus spreads more easily, it’s not shocking to see states like AZ, TX, FL, and CA all seeing es.
    Spinmeister

    C19 spreads MOSTLY indoors.

AZ, SoCal, Confederacy have been in high enough heat to have been in A/C already for weeks.

It's not just bars and restaurants. Kids are hanging out together like covid is not even a thing.
I've been out and about since the beginning. Even went to bars. You just need to use common sense tbh.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but weren’t you the one who ran in here to post about the Lake of the Ozarks pool party?

Ill take the Lake of the Ozarks pool party outside rather than inside.
But I really wont take it either way.

Here’s a load of graphs for FL, TX, AZ, and CA with phased reopenings and BLM protests. Nothing 100% conclusive but I’m not sure why you try and downplay the protests as being a factor in the es.

No but I did post about large numbers at the rivers and beaches. Your lack of curiosity over those numbers has been duly noted.

Strange...I thought for sure it was you. Rivers and beaches are a terrible comparison to being packed in like a sardine among thousands of other screaming/chanting protesters, the opportunity for social distancing just isn’t there.

yes he found a correlation between testing and cases in all those states (without discussing positivity rates), but claims there is no correlation with deaths even though its a lagging indicator and we aren't exactly past the point where we can rule it out

Jesus. Texas cases explode almost exactly two weeks after Phase 2 of Operation Balous commences but it has to be BLM.

    Lol bull

Here's a picture of tubers in Arizona on June 27th.

That's just one. There are a lot of similar recent pictures there and in Texas if you were really curious.

    But you're not.

Why wasn’t there similar spread in Minnesota, New York, and DC?

I’m sure the protests caused some spread, but it’s disingenuous to suggest that’s the driver here

Just got a stay at home text from the city/county. Last one I got was in April when 48 new cases were reported. Today the number is 597.

Post as many pictures as you want, none of them will compare to the amount of people packed together during the protests. Better yet find some aerial views if you really want to be accurate. We’ve both already seen the angles the media tried to use when Florida first opened their beaches and tried to say it was packed. You’d have somewhat of an argument if you found a picture of 6,000 tubers all interlocking arms floating down a 100 ft wide river, but you can’t find that.
