Inmates and people who abuse the welfare system and unemployment benefits getting more free money is not rewarding work. Restaurants are going under because nobody will work for them as the government keeps lining their pockets, which removes any incentive.
And with all the spending they are doing, they should have raised the corporate tax rate back to 35%. Caving to Manchin at 25% is ridiculous, imo.

12 weeks of maternity or paternity leave will be a blessing. Most countries give parents 3 months, paid, to bond with their newborn and be with their family. Crazy how we rush parents back into the workplace and force them to use up their PTO/leave or go on LWOP.
