Antlers fortune seemed legit.
Lowe's bank account is a mystery. He had a few bucks to be sure but fooled Joe into believing he had way more with a house he only had rented for a month and a sports car that was delinquent on payments
Awesome. Lowe was one of the more interesting people to me.
What's crazy is the wealth that everyone has/had. Even Joe with employees eating off the truck had enough money to put together videos and .
Antler and Lowe, and the dude from up north seemed to have made fortunes. I'd be interested to see how much is real.

Ferrari rents their top of the line sports cars? I thought that was odd given that that company is highly prestigious and renting a car like that doesn’t seem like something they’d be into.
Lowe seems like a try hard pleb.
Agree. That's what makes it interesting to me. How's he getting the money to fund Joe's zoo. The house and car seem like props for a con game but I want to know who and how he's scamming.
I think they said the Ferrari payments were delinquent
I don't think Ferrari has any say so about whether someone can rent one of their cars out. A Google search comes up with several places to rent them from.
Yeah, we were part of a club in the Bay Area where you could rent whatever the you wanted so long you could afford it, including one of those neat ass $1.5 million Bugattis.
Best we could afford was some sweet 'Vette, but that paled in comparison to the Lambos and Ferrarris they had.
Also, you can pay like $100 and drive a Ferrari or a Lambo on a pseudo race track when those things come to town. Did that a few times, was able to drive the Lambo and the Porsche, but the Ferrari kept over heating as it was the more popular one.
Fun stuff.
What happened when a consumer ed one up? The risks outweighs the rewards for a thrill ride, imo.
Insurance was expensive and not optional. On some cars, you had to have the bankroll to be approved. Massive mileage conditions and every vehicle had guardians and gps devices so vehicles really couldn't be hot rodded.
We spent $500 on the Vette for basically 36 hours, but some of these cars were thousands and thousands per day.
On those race track ones where you drive 5 laps for a c note, they have a pro driver in there with you and you don't get to drive very fast in those either since those tracks are usually set up in mall parking lots or similar open spaces.
That seems reasonable for a 1 time deal. I don't know if I'll ever get around to doing something like that though.
This dropped last night. It’s useless.
Its just a glorified interview about how these people are managing post show. Who gives a
Yeah I watched it. Waste of 40 minutes. The only thing it showed is that Joe Exotic truly has no allies. He must have been the biggest asshole imaginable when the cameras weren’t rolling.
He ran on the Trump platform and somehow got 20% of the vote so that should answer that.
Tbh, that guy is why Oklahoma gets it's bad rap. He's a breathing, walking stereotype hillbilly, meth idiot.
The land thieves got their bad rap way before this.
I ing hate this "do entary". The guy is a piece of and somehow he's framed as the one we should have sympathy for...poor Carol Baskin getting her name dragged through the mud like that.
Nicolas Cage is going to play Joe in a limited TV series. just as crazy as the guy so this is just as a perfect casting as there will ever be.
This will be stupid. Anyone that would want to see this has likely already seen the do entary. I can't see any dramatization of the story being any better than the real thing.
Agreed.
Or it could be entertaining.
They're probably going the other direction. It won't just be a copy/paste from the Netflix stuff. They can play around with Carol's character more.
However, it will not be based on Netflix’s breakout do entary series, “Tiger King.” Instead, Dan Lagana and Paul Young previously optioned the article “Joe Exotic: A dark Journey Into the World of a Man Gone Wild” by Leif Reigstad in Texas Monthly.
If they don't use "based on a true story" and add scenes of Carol killing her husband and feeding him to the tigers like she did IRL, I'm totally down.
Anyone been watching the Innocence Files?
Good, yet typical Netflix docu (same feeling you get watching the Confession Tapes, Making a Murderer, I am Killer and all the same cookie-cutter Netflix docs (not a complaint, I love Ken Burns docs and they are ALL the same)).
Just illustrates further how broken the justice system is and how corrupt the prosecution side of things are. Good stuff for murder mystery porn fans.

She got what she wanted.
Money is everything. This isn't better than Joe. Both are s .
One simply had more money than the other.
I think I read somewhere she spent $14 million to get ty land in Oklahoma that is barely worth a million bucks. The headline is misleading. There is no zoo there. And she will have to clear the land of remaining cages/buildings, too.
