Sad for you
called it the flu and waited until last night to go Google shopping for an epidemiologist who never made a model for the coronavirus.
You can't have a model for made up stats unless you want to be neil ferguson or the cdc.
because you'll never have one. You'll just throw out numbers based on nothing and call yourself a scientist.
lol ill never have a model and I'm not a scientist. Lol this is wonderful
It is wonderful since you'll never have a model and you aren't a scientist.
Well at least I was never wrong.
Of course you were wrong.
Lol you really thought that
Mortality rate for under 50 is similar to that of the flu thanks Cdc for this information. Who woulda thought? Yep me.
So did the author of the book.
you said it was the flu. Yep you.

Wrong
I try never to lie. My understanding is that they have had to implement the same kinds of stay at home orders as everyone else.
We may be talking past each other, so let's get a bit of clarity and mutual agreement so we can have a productive conversation.
To eliminate the possibility we are talking past each other using words differently, it will help to define "lock down". What is your working definition? Not looking for anything exact, just a general description, and we can go from there.
Locking down is placing at home restrictions on the general population and mandatory shutdown of businesses. Had usa restricted the at risk population only and placed measures on protecting these folks rather than ensuring parks were closed there would be less fatalities.
There we go.
That is my understanding of what Sweden did. We can now determine if I was wrong or not. To be clear: My statement was based on my understanding. I may be wrong, but was not attempting to lie.
I will always admit if i am wrong on anything. I prefer my understanding of reality to be as accurate as possible.
https://www.politico.com/news/2020/0...t-touch-270611So Swedes have been free to shop, eat at restaurants, go to the movies and get their hair cut by professionals. But the reality is, many have chosen not to. Swedes have a high level of trust in their authorities, surveys show, and many have heeded Tegnell’s advice to restrict movement and stay apart.
Data from cellphone service providers shows people have stayed home to a much greater extent than normal, even during public holidays, and voluntarily abstained from nonessential activities — although mobility is higher than in other countries with strict lockdowns and walking journeys are now close to being back to where they were in January.
So despite the light-touch restrictions, Sweden's domestic economy has slowed, compounding the effect of collapsing exports.
So, basically, Sweden has not had mandatory closures of businesses. I stand corrected. I think your definition of "lock down" is pretty reasonable, and agree with it.
They have, though, collectively limited their activities almost as much as those countries that have had such lockdowns.
Didn't seem to help their economy appreciably. There is, though, a very appreciable difference in infection/death rates per capita compared to Norway and Finland. At a media briefing last Thursday, Finance Minister Magdalena Andersson gave an overview of the economic outlook. Her slides showed that sales in stores of the Sweden-based international clothing company H&M had fallen less in Sweden than elsewhere, but the difference between Sweden and locked-down Norway was limited. A snapshot of spending by debit card also suggested minimal differences between the two.
Similarly, a study by researchers at the University of Copenhagen suggested consumer spending in Denmark and Sweden had fallen by similar amounts, despite the very different approaches by the two countries to lockdown.
Andersson concluded that overall, the worst isn't over yet. “There is much to suggest that the big fall will come in the second quarter,” she said.
In Vällingby, the effect of the drop in consumer spending was on display, with a number of stores already shuttered and others offering heavy discounts.
Singh, the stallholder, said his sales are down about 80 percent compared with the same month last year, and neighboring stalls were also suffering a profound slump. “It’s a really tough time,” he said.
you still say it's the flu.
Why is Sweden's death rate so high compared to Norway?
New data shows Spain to have the least amount of movement in Europe during lockdown. Sorry to burst your bubble
Is changing the subject something you learned in science school? Sorry to scare you so badly.
Why did so many people die in Sweden while fewer died in Norway?
nah you were inferring lockdowns work. Spain USA Italy prove you wrong
You got imply/infer wrong. Science!
Why did so many people die in Sweden while fewer died in Norway?
Lol your response. Just keep defying the data. You said kansas
