Close to the coast, close to inshore and offshore fishing opportunities. Big freshwater lakes like Rayburn, Toledo Bend and such, decent hunting for waterfowl and deer/spring turkeys.

The tiny minds are really the conservatives. They are more likely to believe in fake news and conspiracies and can easily be duped by things like talk radio propaganda. Liberals are more educated. The northeast is the most educated part of the country.

Everything you said except offshore fishing. Its half a day to decent water from Freeport. You are better off in the valley with falcon, lower Laguna, and offshore an hours cruise from south padre. No free national forest hunting though, but huge whitetails.

You don't need to be in pelagic waters to do offshore fishing. I am not talking about tuna at the floating rigs, I am talking about kings and dorado and such.

    Red Snapper...

I dont really go offshore so I dont know what the season is in Texas but I will eat the damn things.
There are actually some really good size Mangrove Snapper (when I snorkled) that stay right by the rig legs but they dont venture out far.
If you could some how get a lighter line down there and keep them from swimming back to the barnacle covered legs they would make a fine feast.
Some live smaller than finger mullet by the legs as the current went the past legs... could be awesome. They are very good to eat. And much easier to clean than the really big sheepshead that are also around.

People probably dont do this much because you would really have to be good with your boat to keep it steady to stay right close to the rig.

Luckily I got a freezer full.
I really craving some mammal or fowl though.

Unlike ducks, I cant carry an full grown Elk on my back.
Nor do I have the knifes or skill necessary to debone the whole damn animal.

Not hard to debone an elk. Just time consuming. I can do it in RDR2 in just a few seconds but IRL it takes me longer

You can catch mangrove snapper inshore around jetties, though not as big as the ones around the rigs. They are as good as red snapper imo. Sheepshead are good as well but not fun to clean.

Sandy Rios Defends Trump’s Disinfectant ‘Injection’ Suggestion

Rios was determined to defend Trump’s comments, regardless.

    Rios told her listeners that

she had been watching a television

series about ultra-wealthy businessmen who helped shape the development of large portions of America, such as John D. Rockefeller and Andrew Carnegie.

Rios said one of the uniting themes of the “great minds” in the series was their

“ability to see things that other people couldn’t see.”

Rios questioned whether any of the reporters criticizing Trump had been with an inventor who was thinking up new solutions to a problem.

“Ironically, it occurred to me that often

when the president says something like that and

    they quickly accuse him—

    ‘He’s crazy!

He’s out of his mind! How could he say that?’—

often, well let’s see, it just turns out to be true, Rios said.

    https://www.rightwingwatch.org/post/sandy-rios-defends-trumps-disinfectant-injection-suggestion/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=rww&utm_campaign=best of

Trash doesn't have a "great mind" and his LIES and BULL turn out not to true.

What Trash "sees" are paranoid delusions and conspiracies.
