Both Michigan and Nevada are considered potential swing states in the November election.
The president followed up with a tweet tagging Russ Vought, the acting director of the U.S. Office of Management and Budget; Trump’s chief of staff, Mark Meadows; and the U.S. Treasury Department.
There's no defense for this. The President is a fascist and a sociopath. People will die because he's afraid voter turnout will lose him the office.

First off, they aren't ballots .. they're applications for postal ballots. Second, the Michigan and Nevada secretaries of state don't work for Trump. Third, Michigan voters voted in favour of this in the last election cycle
So basically Trump doesn't want states to implement what their citizens want, unless he personally approves it

False equivalence, the senate is much farther to the right since it's dominated by right leaning states. It's why even with a supermajority the Democrats couldn't get the public option that would have actually lowered insurance costs through the senate. Pelosi would be much less powerful than McConnell is for legislation, not to mention McConnell being able to jam through hard right federal judges to lifetime terms.
