Nothing, but if we’re in agreement that it’s a superficial and stupid way to determine who to vote for, then I’m not sure what we’re arguing about.
    I wasn't arguing anything.

I said strategically speaking. I don't personally care about the demographics of the VP choice, except insofar as it helps ensure a victory.

Yeah that’s what amazing, they didn’t just vote Biden over Bernie, black people genuinely despise Bernie and don’t even know why, they just see spear chucking Donna Brazile and Uncle Clyburn say they should so reflexively they do.
    This is an insane generalization.

Sure some black people will look to their elected leaders to do whatever they tell them to do but tyo just blanketely say all black folks are mindless drones pretty disrespectfull.

If you want to say all of black South Carolinians are dumb s who voted according to uncle Clyburn wishes, that's one thing. But to apply it country wide is asinine.

    https://apps.npr.org/liveblogs/20200229-south-carolina/

Scroll down to the by the numbers stat. They're astounding. Biden won the white vote as well. The 30 and above age etc.

Sanders even lost the ideology battle.

    Very liberal (20%): Biden 39%, Sanders 30%, Warren 16%, Steyer 10%

    That's nuts.

I don't care... If the Dem lose, they need to take a serious look in the mirror, you included. You can only keep pushing the progressives out of your party for so long.
Sure. At the same time, Sanders types are a no go.

I'm perfectly fine with Warren. At least she showed some flexibility. Whether to her detrement or not, that is what you have to do to win primaries.

The fact he won among the “very liberal” in South Carolina proves my point. Black people who clearly align more with Bernie ideologically than they do Biden still voted for Biden. They’re not looking at the actual issues, they’re voting off what Massa Clyburn and pastors like Creflo Dollar tell them to do.

Trump gets re-elected. RBG forced to retire due to old age. 6-3

Breyer follows a couple of years later. 7-2.

These are people in their 80s. One wrong body twist and they're in the morgue. It's not fear, it's reality.

To me arguing that four more years of Trump is fine is saying everything is fine now.

    I would disagree with that.

I'm sure that argument getting parroted by CNN/MSNBC despite the fact it didn't work 4 years earlier had a lot to do with people believing it.

The funny and ironic thing for me is that back in 2016-2017 once I accepted Trump would be the president and you still have people overreacting to him saying how he's a dictator and so on I would scuff and laugh at that because I thought our cons ution were solid enough to withstand Trump's assault. I was wrong.

Trump has defied the law in this country and is on the verge of saying it with the cons ution. I wonder if he does get re-elected and he ends up appointing 2-3 more SCOTUSES that people saying my post is irrational and fearful would see it differently then.

FWIW, I'm voting for Biden largely because I have something to lose if the Republicans completely crater the economy like they did in 2008 or 1929. If I was a working class schmuck making $30,000 a year who declared bankruptcy last year because of overwhelming medical bills, I doubt the "vote for Biden because he's slightly better than Trump!" would really resonate with me.

You didn't stop at 7-2, you mentioned 8-1 as 9-0 as possibilities, which I said was irrational. That's what I was commenting on.

And in four years you’ll parrot the same fearmongering for Klobuchar v Cotton

    I don't.
Like I said, I'm voting for Biden. If I was a working class voter getting raped by things like private healthcare costs and stagnant wages, I doubt I'd be able to distinguish between the two.

I think even Mitch knows there’s no way he could block a Supreme Court seat for 4 years. But he’d sure as try.
He'd definitely block it for four years under a President Biden if he had the senate the entire time. 100% he would.

So I stretched it a little.

But then again, I did mention if he successfully runs for re-election he would then prop up Ivanka for 2024. She would no doubt continue his up ways.

And I'm sure that after the "win the center with an establishment centrist" strategy goes 0-2 against DJT, you'd be advocating to trot out the same strategy against his daughter in 2024.

No, not yet. Really don't like that they only vie for the white house. leaning towards La Riva
