How do you figure all we teach is warts? Every day of school starts with a mandatory pledge of fealty to the United States and its flag, before kids learn all about manifest destiny, how the civil war was about"states rights" and get maybe a paragraph about Jim Crow laws in their history books.
Then someone proposes we teach them more of these warts (see the 1619 Project) and conservatives like you absolutely lose their .

Bad ideas (more specifically, ideology) spread like a disease.
That's a broad statement that's fairly hard to disagree with, but once you get specific about what those bad ideas are, your biases become clear and it's less cut and dry.
Empty vague message is more difficult to judge than direct political indoctrination. That being said school choice is the solution to both. Welcome aboard.
