All lives matter at the end of the day. Anything else is racist.
BS. That Kings announcer said the same thing and got fired. Why? Because in context, it's racist.

To say Black Lives Matter isn't saying all other lives don't. No other race is targeted, profiled, lynched, etc. in world history. Even after the Emancipation Proclamation, Black people still were not free. Still couldn't vote. Were made to eat in the back of the restaurant or sit at the back of the bus.

In the white man's eyes since 1619, they were not considered human. Stole them from their families in Africa, made them slaves, then even after Civil War and being "set free" that was an administrative mirage. Because Jim Crow laws went into effect as well as systemic oppression has been put in place that still exists today.

We saw George Floyd's murder in plain sight. The officers were not arrested until the man started losing money (i.e. white supremacists like yourself vandalized and looted businesses). Then, THEN the offending officer got arrested on bogus 3rd degree murder charges. Should have been 1st degree but you won't readily kill one of your own so easily. We all know if a Black cop had his knee on the neck of a white boy how that would have ended. No hesitation, like here

Killed an innocent 14 year old teenager without real proof. There's countless other times white men have killed Black people that don't make the news. The difference now is it is being video recorded. If there was no video the cops that murdered George Floyd in broad daylight would have gotten off. Again.

It does make me smile to see countries around the world denouncing your racist got president. They came out in droves too. Thousands upon thousands are marching on behalf of Black People who have been wronged in this country for 401 years.

The Rockefellers. The Trumps. Etc., etc. All these rich white people got rich off the backs of Black people who built this country.

There were other minorities that have been oppressed in this country. Asians. Hispanics. Probably the only one that may have had it worse are the Native Americans. But even they get reparations and are not tortured like Black People nowadays (but I bet Columbus and his crew ed them up real bad as they stole their country and put them on Indian Reservations). But no one in the history of man kind has had it worse than Black People. So yes, Black Lives Matter more so than any other minorities. There's no denying that painful fact son.

A guy became President largely behind a "build the wall" campaign. Where were our marches and calls for justice? Were black people in predominantly black cities marching for us? I see a crowd full of Hispanics marching here in SA.

Muslims, along with Mexicans, were singled out by Trump during rallies and no one stood up for them in this way either.

I'm not against the BLM movement but I'd be lying if I said it doesn't make me feel some type of way that everyone acts like the plight of the black man is so much worse and matters so much more than every other minority's.

It was the perfect set of cir stances for this to happen. Authoritarianism, ins utionalized racism, xenophobia, and government sanctioned murder have all happened since forever. Each time it was compartmentalized (i.e. it sucks but it's not my problem) and forgotten if it was covered at all. Now the pressure is staying up and other movements will gain traction as the American people push against ins utions that are corrupt and that have failed them. You had a lot of people wondering what it was going to take to move towards some kind of change and it was a nonstop stream of corruption from elected officials, soaring unemployment, a tanked economy, a global pandemic, 100K+ Americans dead, suicide rate es, domestic abuse es, and then acts of police brutality coupled with a lack of accountability one after the other.

Then they'll all be proud Americans again, after wishcasting for the demise of the country and not investing in outlook of recovery. They'll want to sit at the table after trying to burn the house down.

    100% racist.

I will say that there is no way to prove the statement that blacks are the most oppressed around the world. That has to be natives. Maybe in the context of the USA...but different countries different dynamics

Maybe you don't understand the term "oppression". The North Koreans are extremely oppressed, as were the Jews, as are the Chinese, as are many in the Middle East, as are large groups in Africa. If you mean by numbers, the burden of proof is on you. Right now the narrative is the black man in America. The ROTW isn't the concern for America at this moment.

Fighting on arrival, fighting for survival.. stolen from Africa, brought to America. I should put that in a song.

Correct. My post mainly focuses on America, but I'd argue that other nations and continents have prospered from Black slave labor.

I don't recall any other race being treated so unfairly in any history class I've ever taken. That's US History (up until the civil war) or World History. If I'm wrong, enlighten me.

Many nations have prospered from unpaid labor. The US prospers now from underpaid labor in Mexico, South Korea and China. Not the same as slavery where you are owned and bred like cattle, but still a form of oppression. If you want to lose the point of the protest in the noise of generality, that's your prerogative.

Anywho, neither Mexicans, Chinese, Koreans, or the like built this country. Black Men did. Every time you hear the blast whistle of a train going throughout the country, transporting precious cargo, remember the tracks that they ride on were built by the blood sweat and tears of slaves. African slaves to be exact.

Most races pity onto blacks because most mistreated them at some point. Except Eastern Euros and Asians. We treat them like any other minority group.

USA fought a War against Mexico. There is a mutual understanding between gentleman it was handled on the field.
You really don't know much about that war then.

Mexicans didn't endure 300 years of slavery, aren't Americans (hispanics are not afraid of no in' wall, puto... walls are for pussies). Blacks are Americans, built the country, are largely responsible for much of the wealth in the country yet are horribly underrepresented by the same country's government and states. I'd say take a knee but you payasos are so short no one would notice.
spot on tbh. Wrecked in the first post, hopefully he doesn’t meltdown and post tranny porn now tbh

My general frustration is aimed at white (liberals). I think blacks are just a pawn.

But over the past week, I'm not the only one hungover from all this black coverage. What is the first thing that comes to mind when I see them in public - protest
I think almost all of us are hung over from this entire bad dream.

The first thing that comes to my mind when I read your posts is... why cant black people just turn white?
    Problem solved.

Manifest destiny. Thousands of Native Americans were murdered and relocated. The Redskins name has been seen as racist by Native Americans for years and its still there. Draymond makes a stupid comment about how NBA team owners shouldn't be called owners because somehow its connected to slavery, and within a week they become governors not owners.

My wife and I were talking about this the other day. She says that she wished the black community would’ve stood behind the Mexican community over the border wall stuff, the whole go back to your country when speaking Spanish stuff, the immigrants being placed in internment camps and separating children from their parents, and being scared of ICE when they started to detain actual American citizens and claimed there passports weren’t good for a form of ID. She stands behind the BLM and whole stand against police brutality movements but laments that she doesn’t feel like it’s a two way street.

i was of the notion that Whites have separated minorities up from the get go. Whiteys biggest fear is that the minorities come together and bring actual change. They have systematically made all minorities feel like their voice and vote doesn’t matter. I can’t tell you how many minority high schoolers I’ve taught that think their vote doesn’t count so they don’t participate in politics. For some reason, in a city such as Houston which is mainly non-white, they believe this notion. Now the 2 questions that come to mind is why? Latinos are 16% of the population. Blacks are 13%. That’s 29% of the nation. Add Native Americans and Asian communities and it’s bumped up to 40%. I don’t care who you are 150 million people all aligned on a subject will get stuff changed.

So why doesn’t this happen? Why don’t minorities come together? Bc we are taught by Whites that we aren’t the same. Mexicans are Mexicans and Blacks are Blacks. When you check the box on your government papers you don’t say you are a minority overall, you are saying you are a specific minority. You are segregated yourself from other minorities since kindergarten without even realizing it. This is just one example, there are others. Whites also give the illusion of caring about minorities by having Black History month or Cinco de Mayo parties and . And when they teach about the Civil Rights Movement they teach how other whites came together and helped the black man’s plight and how that unity helped bring change. I never saw pictures of Mexicans marching for civil rights but my grandparents were there. Their friends were their but from a young age we are taught that Whites helped the Blacks and subliminally not Mexicans.

We also don’t teach anything about the racism of politics. How both parties are racist. How both parties don’t fight for us. How the only way to change the not feeling like my vote matters is to get people in office who make us feel like our vote matters. My grandpa was a migrant worker as a youth and yet my mom defended Ronald Reagan to me in a conversation and was stunned to learn that Reagan hated Mexicans. The dude ing ate grapes on live TV in response to Cesar Chavez’s boycott. She had no clue that it was Reagan as governor who was the biggest obstacle in that whole movement. Why? Because it isn’t taught. Instead we focus on the Space Race or Berlin Wall when it comes to Reagan. And conservatives to this day still talk about how great Reagan was and quote him (Dems too btw). It’s a joke. I’m not sure how to fix all of this but I know that it starts from youth in order to fix things. Minority issues need to be taught from Kindergarten on. Voting needs to be instilled from day one and hammered in every single year. And I’m not talking about national voting but rather local. 11% of people voted for Mayor. It’s ridiculous. You got to start local and then get national

    - Conservatives want minorities to integrate
    - Liberals want minorities to create subcultures

    Which encourages coming together?

Whites in America successfully created a multicultural nation. One of the few examples in human history. The nerve to still take a shot at them. Try going to Mexico and preaching for the same.

I’m nlt denying the european salve trade. That doesnt change the fact the natives were being killed elft and right. Are they supposed to be less oppressed because they were only killed?

We stood for y'all then and did before that. All the civil rights mexicans, asians and other ethnic groups have right now are because of the protests my ancestors went through. Affirmative actions, came from blacks. Voting rights, blacks, ...gotdayum we still fighting for basic human rights after 400 years and everyone expects us to come save the day every time.

And minorities arrrre coming together but people like you, your wife and the OP have a problem with it.
