... free tuition, free books, free lodging, free food

still not living it up. It all stops after their last school year,

... leaving the top schools with many $10Ms of revenue
And then many of them have injuries that will stay with them forever

    A) before mentioned is even more valuable during Covid when many facilities are closed

    B) playing career occupies a tiny portion of their working life. Degree is more valuable. The athletes that fail to mature tend to end up bankrupt anyway

They are pampered. Many wouldn't gain admittance if not for hut hut and ball shooting. Lastly their poor behavior is swept under rug because they bounce ball.

If they had the ability they would work in the school laboratory instead. Them tearing up their knees is personal choice. Other students work in the school Starbucks. Some girls have sex on web cams or strip to pay tuition

Your issue should be with the NFL gatekeeping newcomers

There's a bunch of better reasons why the schools shouldn't pay them. Your reasons are horrible.

I'm in favor of a stipend plus having the ability to make money off yourself while in college and other things.

Depends on the sport but if the students were allowed to form a union and collectively bargain then the at most $80k a year they receive from scholarships and the like is much much less than what they could leverage of the billions of dollars in football and basketball revenue the NCAA currently enjoys.
