The mandate will stop the unvaccinated from infecting the vaccinated. Then we'll need another mandate to stop the unboosted from infecting the boosted.
80%-90% it would seem, way better than theraputics.

they've been doing the same thing. the politicization has come from industries that are implicated in what the data has found. we saw this with big tobacco for decades. we've seen seeing it with the fossil fuel industry more recently. unfortunately, half of our country chose the corporate messaging over the scientific one, so we have a major political party that banks on denial of science. that has now bled through to other issues of science as half the population has been conditioned to not believe that science is real

it was as recent as 1994 when 7 separate CEOs of the US's biggest tobacco companies testified under oath before congress that nicotine was not addictive. these guys all claimed the science was politicized too. this isn't some hypothetical idea i'm throwing out there. we've already seen it multiple times. happened earlier with the lead paint, leaded gas, etc
