and... winner.
What is Jared Kushner doing to convince people to get the Trump vaccine?
There doesn't seem to be much interest in therapeutics.
CDC advice: Stay home. Call 911 when you can't breathe.

Booster semi annual subscriptions to 8 billion humans >>>> $$$$ than cures for a few tens of millions a year that would need them
also governments will not be able to do lockdowns at will and monitoring if we had decent cures
Still under investigation by NIH
Other agents have undergone or are currently undergoing investigation in the outpatient setting. For more information, please refer to the sections of the Guidelines that address:
Antiviral agents, such as ivermectin and nitazoxanide
Convalescent plasma
Immunomodulators, such as colchicine and fluvoxamine
Supplements, such as vitamin C, vitamin D, and zinc

Viruses are notoriously difficult with therapeutics although we are getting much better.
One major problem is that viral genetic material is injected into YOUR cells making them very difficult to stop completely. So their genetic material can basically hide and wait.
We can get them when they are outside of the cell, but inside is very difficult. The great thing about vaccines is they have a much longer time line of effectiveness. Your body will constantly make cells and antibodies made by cells that attack the virus in multiple stages, even getting at your own cells that are going to "unload" transmissible viral particles by scanning the surface of your own cells and then killing those SPECIFIC cells.
Of course we keep looking for therapeutics, but its a much more difficult problem, look at AIDS, it took a good while to get the therapeutics and antivirals correct and even then I would rather have COVID. No vaccine for AIDS. A huge pain in the ass. You would rather have your own "known" familiar system taking care of things rather than putting weird organic molecules in your body that your body might say, "this is not familiar" fk this thing.
"Eight percent of our DNA consists of remnants of ancient viruses,
and another 40 percent is made up of repe ive strings of genetic letters
that is also thought to have a viral origin."

Yeah I posted about this, but it did not seem to be impressive.
Viruses to a fantastic job of piggy backing and replicating their own genetic material.
Here is where a reading of the gist of the "Selfish Gene" by Richard Dawkins is valuable.
He basically called it on what actually might be the fundamental level of selection in natural selection. He also got a lot of things wrong and has basically gone out of his mind imo. But this book is astounding insight because it was written BEFORE we sequenced the human genome and found out about all this strange DNA. And it just keeps getting stranger the further we look into it. Amazing stuff and an amazing read.
There's a new antiviral for covid in phase 3 that reportedly is looking really good. Probably will be hearing about it soon. I can't remember the name off hand. Starts with M, ends with VIR like all antivirals.
Add age and health to those #s.or theyre worthless
Dammit, it's buggin me I can't think of the name. I think it rhymes with a female body part.
Masturvir?
Maginavir?
Fallopivir?
Molnupiravir
https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/med...rs/ar-BB1bFDTw
In phase 3, govt has prepurchased 1.7 million courses (not doses) for $1.2B
get the jab or pay out the ass for testing, it's a personal choice.
What do they do for people who have immunity from natural infection?
Why are these people ignored?
sorry you're going through this, snowflake
That's probably among the medical exemptions mentioned.
Unclench, Darrin. Don't try to be a vicarious victim again. It's getting to be pretty pathetic.
dumb Darrin dislikes reading
