"PENDLETON, Ore. — Weeks after President Trump demanded that America’s shuttered houses of worship be allowed to reopen, new outbreaks of the coronavirus are surging through churches across the country where services have resumed.

The virus has infiltrated Sunday sermons, meetings of ministers and Christian youth camps in Colorado and Missouri. It has struck churches that reopened cautiously with face masks and social distancing in the pews, as well as some that defied lockdowns and refused to heed new limits on numbers of worshipers.

Pastors and their families have tested positive, as have church ushers, front-door greeters and hundreds of churchgoers. In Texas, about 50 people contracted the virus after a pastor told congregants they could once again hug one another. In Florida, a teenage girl died last month after attending a youth party at her church...."

One potential problem is that if a congregation doesn't get infected, it might get more lax in its mitigation measures (if it has any). Once a spreader does get in there, the impact could be worse than if it had happened the first week.

Quite frankly if everyone re ed enough to sit shoulder to shoulder with other people in a crowded ass church right now got COVID-19 and died, it would be an amazing case of Darwinism.

    so what's your advice?

what's your guidance in the face of the surging pandemic?

If you were responsible for telling people how to handle their lives to survive the pandemic, what would it be?

It's simple that you don't know?

How many cases have been linked to Wal Mart and Costco?

Or are you just interested in targeting the churches?

We don't know. The reason we don't know: No contact tracing. More bungling by the Trump adminstation.

Even when you try to be cute... it merely highlights more Trump bungling.
