Buy ten you will win
The current jackpot is 87 million. A ticket costs $1 and the odds of winning are 1 in 292,000,000, but according to alt right math thats rounded up to 1 in 10, meaning that for $1 I can buy a powerball ticket with a present value of $8.7 million.
Am I missing something guise? Seems like a good deal tbh.
Buy ten you will win
Depends on the current ifr
I buy when Powerball ($2 ticket) goes above $400 million. I used to think that if God meant for me to win the lottery, I'd find one on the ground somewhere. Now I think that God helps those who help themselves :-)
boomer thinking God told them to help themselves... this is why we can't have nice things
“god helps those who help themselves” is one of the most flagrant confirmation biases I’ve ever seen related to religion.
supply side jesus to a T
Lottery is a tax on the math re ed (Random Guy, where are you?)
RandomGuy might have TDS, but FrostKing takes the le for biggest political forum math re after today’s showing.
Seriously, you guys need to lighten up :-) Besides, I only buy now I'm working - didn't when I was homeschooling - then I pinched EVERY penny.
You said God, it triggers them every time.
What percentage of the time are conservatives being serious, and what percentage of the time are they intentionally saying dumb to trigger the libs? No rounding on the percentages, I can’t tell if the conservative view of how rounding works is serious or just trigger material.
Im thinking its more paraphrasing God saying fairly ridiculous stuff to make the "paraphraser" feel they are ok in his eyes.
But always sinners. Never, forget that.
Basically any time they're caught saying something stupid they fall back on jestrollingutriggered.
Those questions have not been studied but the answer is equal to or greater than 1 for sure.
So you mean this was just for the lols, just j/k, per par, etc
My comment or hers?
I don't know. It doesn't seem like she's just trolling.
if it's all been for the lols
hard to tell with some people, tbh...
Pots over 400 million are far and few between. I'd be spending a lot more on lottery tickets if I bought at 250.
You guys are so critical - it must be tough being your significant others.
half serious:
Yes. One ticket. positive fraction still larger than zero.
I will occasionally buy a ticket for fun on that basis. I put it it the entertainment budget.
If you’re even being one quarter serious about the “any fraction is greater than zero thus rounded up” stupidity, you should research the viability of suicide.
Which is a lot.
