As for BLM, I still have yet to see any high profile individual call them out. Politicians on both sides seemed to zero in on Antifa and although I support the move, it was done to excuse BLM. All of Washington supported or sat idle until Trump finally passed the Monument Law. Yah it was difficult to see so called leadership of a nation just allow that looting to occur. It might have cost Trump some voters. On the other hand he played the long game and BLM support started to decline once they set sights on religious statues. I have told my buddies - be honest Trump would sacrifice our lives for a long game victory.
Anyway, election year in America is a chess game full of counters. Calling out BLM would have thrown the entire black vote towards Biden. Blacks might not vote but they are great spokespeople for the impressionable youth in this country. As it currently stands I don't think Biden has the black vote locked up. It might require going female black VP and such a partner could be outspoken and create uncomfortable issues nearing the election.
