It is quite possible I am not qualified to make political judgments.
I live in a world where everyone makes mistakes and it is beneficial to point them out and correct them. If you don’t make mistakes, it tells me you’re not doing your job.
It basically says you were sitting around doing nothing, or, you are willing to be deceitful which will cause a group effort to fail.
It takes honesty, responsibility, unity, self-sacrifice, and hard work to accomplish a goal.
At one point in time I thought this was a fundamental conservative value.
Now all I get is a blame game on how other people screwed up and the big guy never makes mistakes. And, it’s very important to never admit one is wrong. Politically this is the worst thing you can do. You don’t have to fix anything, just don’t ever admit you are wrong. In my opinion this then assures you will be a hypocrite. Now that lying is an acceptable behavior, taking on tough problems and always solving them becomes very easy. When the truth is, the core of a very large structure is rotten.
