Spurs could conceivably get the 8th against Phoenix or even Memphis.
I'm just curious without fans, is it frowned upon while an @NBA player is shooting FTs to yell something from the bench?
I think someone from the Clippers bench made a sound while (not after) Lillard shot one of his FTs.
Spurs could conceivably get the 8th against Phoenix or even Memphis.
I mean, I don't see why it would be. Do players usually yell while other players are shooting free throws? I don't think I've ever paid attention to it.
Spurs have pelicans jazz and rockets
So technicaly it could end up with portland 8th spurs 9th.
But it would take both spurs and portland to go 3/0
And memphis dont win 0/3
Its going to be really intresting. Expect some losses to the play in contenders.
I expect portland to drop at least one game.
But not convinced spurs can go 3/0
Lets go heat in few hours
Portland and Memphis don't play one another. Portland plays the Mavericks and Nets after tomorrow's game against the 76ers.
So Portland could get the 8th and the Spurs the 9th, or visa versa under a couple scenarios.
Solid points tbh. I forgot about the Raps lengthy defenders. Gonna be interesting to see the matchups if the clips/bucks meet in the finals.
On the Suns front

Erik Spoelstra says Goran Dragic (ankle) is out tonight but is making progress. Jimmy Butler and Kendrick Nunn also out vs. Suns.

Jazz might be looking to tank for the 6th seed. Better draw, imho.
OT but UTA and DEN about to go to double OT. .3 seconds left.
UTA getting to redo their possession.
I don't know if that's good or bad for us. I also don't know if it's better for us for Utah to win or lose.
Utah winning after multiple OTs I guess. They might prioritize resting the remaining games.
Suns have to 7-1 IMO. I still think its a 3 team race for 8/9 -- Spurs, Blazers, and Grizzlies.
Totally missed this, but if Suns and Spurs both win out, Suns actually finish ahead of Spurs on winning percentage. So need Blazers to lose one more AND Suns to lose one more, plus Spurs to win out.
Best thing that could happen is the Rockets losing to the Kings and the Jazz falling to the Mavs, which would essentially lock the Jazz into the 6 seed and the Rockets into the 4-5 with OKC (meaningless which of the two).
Both teams may then rest heading into the last two games, and give the Spurs a bit of a break. Anything other than 3-0 probably won’t be enough.
If NO beats SA then that changes the 3 team race.
Imo it stills Blazers Memphis
