I knew whoever got Carmelo was going to benefit. I said we should have signed him back in the season and folks laughed at me.

The Guests are rolling because Nurkic is back and looks better than ever tbh. Fatmelo has shown he has more in the tank but he wouldn't of made sense in SA; the Spurs needed to play their young players more.

It made sense back when I wanted him. Season was still on the early stages and we were sorely missing a big body at the forward position and I thought "what the , we already have career losers like DD, LA and Gay. Let's make it a poker with Carmelo". There was literally nothing to lose. Worst case scenario you just cut the guy.

Not that I agree with the sentiment, but if the Spurs signed him and cut him it would've been bad from a players' perspective, which the Spurs don't need with how hard it is to sign players normally. Regardless, the role Portland has him in wouldn't of worked in SA since they'd of played short, unathletic midgets next to him that would've exposed his weaknesses.

Do we want the Kings or the Nets to win?

Thunder choking off a 12 point 1st quater lead, mailing it in 2nd quarter vs Grizzleys.
Oh well, that what Spurs get for choking away games earlier.

Good point. Developing a history of just tossing late-career big names to the side shortly after signing them is not a good look, and a good reputation is an easy thing to destroy.

    Please.
Marshmellow is at 30% in the bubble with his usual weak D.

Nothing to experiment with, he's a known commodity.
1 of 3 games so far he's been good. For all we know that was Houston mailing it in, like a lot of the clinched teams are doing.
    Stupid signing by Guests.

For the season he's averaging 15 ppg on pretty good efficiency.

They if they win today they have to win two more to guarantee finishing above the Spurs.

Basically after Spurs started 2-0 (around day 4-5 of restart games) Spurs haven't got help from the teams they needed help from...

Mainly, their own. That Sixers game was killer.

Still was going to be difficult without some losses from Blazers (mostly) and Grizzlies.

Without that Sixers choke we would be ahead of the Blazers and tied with Memphis on losses.

    Defense?

Also, has 3 assists total in 3 bubble games. 34 minutes per game. Same ol .
Watch the Clippers ream him tomorrow.
    * if Clipps are taking load management day, not just nephew but the whole team then any stat padding by Marshmello does not count.

If my math is correct only way to catch Grizzlies now is if they lose their last 3 games which would put their win% at 0.4520

If they go 1-2 their win% will be 0.4657 (rounded to .466)

Spurs win out would only have win% of 0.4647 (rounded to .465)

Right now - all else equal if we beat the 76ers our win% would be 0.4558 (rounded to .456) -- Blazers currently have .457

    nicely done, thank you.

Spurs and CIA Popped needed to consider beforehand that teams already in would be laying down. The giveaway to the Sixers was pathetic. And no, Joker is not Larry Bird. STFU and retire already. Like after 2014.

    If Blazers go 1-3 = win% 0.4459

    2-2 = win% 0.4594

    3-1 = win% 0.4729
