A win would go a long ways toward securing a 8th/9th seed. It's worth noting the Nuggets are in the 3rd seed and 2-6 is very tight. First game of a back-to-back for the Nuggets.

Jaren Jackson Jr tore his meniscus and is out for the rest of the restart. Grizz will be in free fall. Spurs really need to take advantage if they want to make the playoffs.

At this point its basically between SA, NO, and POR for the playoffs then. Spurs have to go at least 4-1 to get themselves into the play-in game(s).

Barton and Harris out. Murray is questionable. Very winnable game.

PHX can rub the table and get in. They’re playing well right now. 3-0 so far in the bubble and just beat the Clippers today.

Their schedule is ridiculous the rest of the way. They got the Pacers next and TJ Warren prolly has that game circled.

Suns need to finish 6-2 to have a chance. Suns have difficult schedule ahead but the are the most talented team on the outside IMO.

Winnable game. No excuses, both the Spurs and Nuggets have some starters out. Obviously the Nugs are the more talented team, but anything can happen in the NBA these days. Rooting for a win, or at least some entertaining ball, the match against the Sixers was very fun to watch despite the result.

Blazers are about to beat Houston so that sucks. Spurs choking last night and giving that game away was costly.

Spurs still control their own destiny to get to the play-in game, but I can't see them beating the Guests twice.

Thanks for this input Robz. I have to ask you if this is regardless of what the other teams do. I read the situation same as you. Without Jaren, the Grizzlies have no chance, but the Suns have been playing well. They have won 3 in a row and the last one was a close game against the Clippers. It would be a mistake to disregard a hot team in a short tournament situation. Anyways, its currently SA, NO, POR and Suns I think.

If the Spurs win out or go 4-1 they finish with a better winning pct than the Suns regardless of if they win out (which they won't). Grizz could win out and the Spurs would be ed but they're a dead stick with JJJ out.

Spurs need to win that game against the Pelicans otherwise even if they go undefeated in their other games the Pels can overtake them.
