Where are you marching for civil rights and racial equality on MLK Jr. Day?
Id venture that most of the democrat posters on here have never marched on MLK Day. All talk no action as usual. They'll be posting here on monday with no regard for the man the day is celebrating.
Where are you marching for civil rights and racial equality on MLK Jr. Day?
How many Trump rallies you been to lately?
Conservatives cite an MLK quote besides the color/content one challenge
Don’t you mean “James Earl Ray Marksmanship Appreciation Day”?
wheres all they money raise for BLM movement? i assume hey siphoned that away from the public for their own use
Just another opportunity and excuse for mean old man Biden to hustle race and cast white down with the sodomites.
In the mean time MF Biden today will finish another week of over 10k Americans dead of the COVID.
Mr. "shut it down" indeed.
He spoke of the right vs the left, one of my faves..
“I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.” -Martin Luther King
Is this CRT?
(I think not.)
I had hoped that the white moderate would understand that law and order exist for the purpose of establishing justice and that when they fail in this purpose they become the dangerously structured dams that block the flow of social progress. I had hoped that the white moderate would understand that the present tension in the South is a necessary phase of the transition from an obnoxious negative peace, in which the Negro passively accepted his unjust plight, to a substantive and positive peace, in which all men will respect the dignity and worth of human personality. Actually, we who engage in nonviolent direct action are not the creators of tension. We merely bring to the surface the hidden tension that is already alive. We bring it out in the open, where it can be seen and dealt with. Like a boil that can never be cured so long as it is covered up but must be opened with all its ugliness to the natural medicines of air and light, injustice must be exposed, with all the tension its exposure creates, to the light of human conscience and the air of national opinion before it can be cured.
The 1967 MLK quotes about a revolution of values and militant tactics to fight racism, militarism and capitalism (nonviolent ones like blocking highways, government buildings and boycotting schools) don't get much play.
I get the day off, but I'm going celebrate with a toast instead, tbh...

Biden cant keep his promises like Trump. Black people are always the puppet for the democrat party.
This passage is also from the "I have a dream" speech

Tell it, Hemi.
Testify!!!
What promises did Trump keep? Ending carnage? His new health care plan? Taxing the rich including himself?
where's that completed wall, free healthcare, corona vanishing, etc? lol gullible moron
Let's all be open and honest, like MLK said. The problem facing racial equality today is the upper class white woman/liberal man has commandeered the momentum gained by the sacrifice of black civil rights activists like MLK, so that the focus has shifted to Gay and transgendered rights, and #metoo. No sooner did MLK give his life for his cause than the feminist movement do everything in their power to steal the spotlight. Then the term "minority' supplanted the negro cause, to where immigrants who never experienced slavery nor any of the generational neglect and social engineering that the negro faced, were lumped in to the civil rights discussion. Once again the negro is at the back of the bus. Now the chubby white gender fluid, upper class American is the most protected species and the negro once again put into urban reservations.
(the term "negro" is used because that's how MLK used it).
When MLK Jr. spoke out against Vietman and economic inequality in the same breath, the powers that be did not take it kindly.
Well, our MLK walk was canceled this year due to COVID, so...
Public disapproval of MLK Jr. polled around 75% in 1968.
DIVISIVE!
