Then there's the bus drivers
So, in the rush to get back into schools, districts are suddenly faced with some harsh realities of labor markets.
Subs... tend to be older. They don't need to teach usually. Took themselves out of the market.
Teachers close to retirement... took retirement early. Took themselves out of the market.
Those that stay... often need 2 weeks to quarantine. Did I mention there aren't any subs?
Funny that parents pushing for reopen at school board meetings are now facing the fact that teachers did exactly what they said they should do. "if you don't like it, quit"
