Schumer needs to find a new chair of the judiciary if the Dems get the senate back. She’s demonstrated complete ineffectiveness from the last time around.
Ugh that piece of needs to be primaried
Schumer needs to find a new chair of the judiciary if the Dems get the senate back. She’s demonstrated complete ineffectiveness from the last time around.
Yeah I'm sure Schumer will get right on that, he has been such an effective leader for senate Democrats.
Dems standing on norms against unprincipled cons utional hardball. You hate to see it.
He’s scared of an AOC primary, and the AOC supporters hate Feinstein.
There is no reason for anyone to like Feinstein
If I was a hedge fund manager or Exxon Mobile I would like Feinstein a lot.
As Will H predicted, the 5th Circuit upholds Abbott's drop box restrictions:
Federal judge (a Trump appointee) tosses Trump Campaign drop box lawsuit in PA:
https://www.npr.org/2020/10/10/92267...n-pennsylvania"Perhaps Plaintiffs are right that guards should be placed near drop boxes, signature-analysis experts should examine every mail-in ballot, poll watchers should be able to man any poll regardless of location, and other security improvements should be made," Ranjan wrote. "But the job of an unelected federal judge isn't to suggest election improvements, especially when those improvements contradict the reasoned judgment of democratically elected officials."

PA Supreme Court ruling stands, 4-4 vote.
All caps Rick Hasen is a new one on me, he's usually the guy screwing peoples heads back on after they lose their over stuff they don't understand.
More fascist "unitary executive" telling Congress and its oversight of the Exec to off
Since when does USPS work for the President?
From coast to coast, the Trump administration is locking Democratic leaders out of USPS facilities

Coincidence?
DeJoy's U.S. Postal Service sabotage hitting swing states, communities of color
https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2020/10/20/1988092/-Coincidence-DeJoy-s-U-S-Postal-Service-sabotage-hitting-swing-states-communities-of-color
Mission accomplished, tbh.
I get why DeJoy hasn't been impeached yet, but got damn, how bad does it have to get?
the feckless Dems.
They allow this to happen by some obscure Pelosi political calculation that allows the criminal Repugs to run wild with no accountability.
"unitary executive" isn't legal gobbledygook, bur Orwellian Newspeak for the President as autocrat.
Trash/Barr have pushed the envelope, blown out the Overton window, preparing for the next Repug President/Congress to terminate USA.
You won’t believe how the post office scored in our latest mail delivery test
The Watchdog mails first-class letters from across Dallas-Fort Worth to see if USPS has its act together.

Judge imposes sweeping order to ensure ballots are delivered on time despite Trump’s USPS slowdown
https://www.rawstory.com/2020/10/jud...owdown-report/
And if Dejoy effectively gives the judge a you, what is the punishment?
Impeachment, but he'll probably resign first.
Dejoy is a govt employee?
MN Supreme Court changes the rules on mail in ballots five days before the election, like we do now.
The ruling is bull but seriously, why do minorities and millennials feel the need to cut it so god damn close? Just hand deliver your ing ballot to the county clerk or to a dropbox. There's no good reason for why you needed to sit on your mail-in ballot this long.
"In bent Paul Thissen and Mic e L. MacDonald are running in a nonpartisan general election for the Minnesota Supreme Court on November 3, 2020.
As of October 2020,
five judges on the court were appointed by a Democratic governor and
two judges were appointed by a Republican governor.
If Thissen wins the election, the liberal bloc on the court will maintain its 5-2 majority.
If MacDonald wins, the partisan split on the court will shift to a 4-3 liberal majority."

When ing Dem judges us over, there is no hope. America is ed and un able.

It wasn't the Minnesota supreme court, it was the 8th Circuit COA, which undoubtedly is loaded with Trump appointees.
yep, only one judge by Obama, 20 by Repug presidents
