Yeah I don’t pay attention to trans so I wouldn’t know about that.
Latinx instead of Latino/Latina
Yeah I don’t pay attention to trans so I wouldn’t know about that.

Eric Trump is in a tail spin.
To be fair, if we're talking about the US/English, "Latina" isn't a word. Latino, like Filipino, is supposed to be gender neutral. Both of those are English words and aren't supposed to follow Spanish conjugation rules. A lot of us with Spanish-language backgrounds conjugate both anyway, but that's not "proper" it's actually objectively wrong, because it implies we're using the Spanish phones, but those are different words. It reminds me of talking to Latino posters and debate whether guys from Spain are Latino. They're not. The word in English specifically refers to the Americas because it's a loan abbreviation of latinoamericano. So yeah, it means different things in the two languages, and we shouldn't great the English word like it's the Spanish word. With all that said, I don't like latinx. That sounds dumb. Just say Latin. No one else is using that anymore.
As far as Spanish goes, Language may well evolve to a point where it does remove its gendered distinction. Language evolves based on use, and there isn't pragmatically any right answers. If people in the Spanish-speaking world start referring to themselves as Latinu (which would be way better in my opinion) and find a new set of articles, it's fine. It's going to be confusing and stupid, and it's not all going to happen at once. But eventually most of the world will get it. Or it'll fall out of favor and change back. Either way, it won't be a big deal.
Poll on the Latinx thing

We dont even use the word latino down south unless we say america latina. And trust me we will never say america latinx its ing imbecile
You get beat up for like that in the barrio
I was speaking about spanish, tbh, but generally, I'm not opposed to the addition of words due to cultural changes. However, pressure to replace certain words because it's the cultural fad du jour is wrong, IMVHO.
Agreed... but check it out...

Wow thats ing gay
But again thats not down south HBO is a yanki company. gots
The democrats need the black vote to win the presidency. They have never won the white majority vote since LBJ back in '64. Conservatives also know this and are attempting to divide the black community by saying Kamala is not a real black woman. Their hopes is that will cause a good enough of percentage blacks to stay at home and not vote in this election thus paving the way for Trump to win.
Latinx isn't supposed to function in place of Latino/Latina. It only functions in place of a default use of Latino. You are seriously misunderstanding the purpose of the word.
Dumb americans supporting this nonsense will soon realize they will have to start ordering tacxs, fajitxs and coronxs and just then they will probably realize how ing stupid and gay this is
