the other shoe to drop, if there is one, is whether any of Wolf's and Cuccinelli's actions will be found invalid by the IG.
Nothing will happen, of course -- unless Trump finds it expedient to fire yet another IG --this is just another tile in the mosaic of the Trump administration's contempt for law.
https://www.politico.com/f/?id=00000...b-fd4b69720000Upon Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen’s resignation on April 10, 2019, the official whoassumed the le of Acting Secretary had not been designated in the order ofsuccession to serve upon the Secretary’s resignation. Because the incorrect officialassumed the le of Acting Secretary at that time, subsequent amendments to theorder of succession made by that official were invalid and officials who assumedtheir positions under such amendments, including Chad Wolf and KennethCuccinelli, were named by reference to an invalid order of succession.

So basically right on brand with this administration?
Malice tempered by incompetence.
