You care enough about politics to regularly post about it on a messageboard but you genuinely have no idea what's going on with the USPS (or at least what's alleged to be going on)? You're either lying (likely) or really do live in a bubble.
I'll play along though.
In the last 2 months, following Trump's appointment of his friend Louis Dejoy as postmaster general, the USPS has removed over 600 mail sorting machines from USPS processing centers. It also disallowed overtime pay and made a bunch of structural changes, removing people who have overseen day-to-day operations. Since these changes, multiple major population centers have experienced significant delays in receiving mail. USPS also took a bunch of mailboxes off the streets this week.
The USPS issued a warning to 46 states that it won't be able to handle mail-in ballots on time to meet deadlines:

To vote, for example.
i use the post office almost exclusively for shipping/mail... only time i go to UPS instead is if we are returning something we bought online and thats their designated carrier
for individual use post office is usualy the most economical. im sure if i had a business operation i'd prefer ups/fedex because they can have somebody assigned to my account to deal with bulk shipments, do faster deadline in-person deliveries, including weekends, etc.
